Hello, my name is Jinghui and obviously, I am Chinese. Now I am a PhD student at VUB, my research interest focus on mathematical finance and risk management. I am outgoing and easy to get along with. Especially I welcome all questions from my students or potential students. As a qualified mathematical and statistical tutor, I accepted advanced mathematics and statistics education for many years. My name is Ségolène (26 years old). I have a double degree from KULeuven with a Master of Business Administration (NL/EN) as well as the agrégation (Educatieve Master). I worked for 2 years in insurance and currently work at Odoo.

My mother tongue is French, but from a very young age, I was educated in Dutch, which allowed me to become perfectly bilingual. I love supporting my students and seeing them progress. I offer academic support in any subject but also to help them learn how to learn, become better organized, and gain confidence.

MY EXPERIENCE :

I helped several students to pass the CE1D exam in Dutch (written, oral, listening comprehension). In addition, I also assisted students with their homework and for various subjects at secondary level (Maths, Handel (commerce), Sciences: WO, NW...).
Finally, it is also possible for younger children to learn Dutch in a fun way (language games, educational games).

During a test carried out on the CLL site to assess my level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2), I obtained the result C2: "The student expresses himself appropriately in n' any situation, by dominating the linguistic and cultural elements proper to a native speaker and by knowing how to distinguish shades of meaning."

For physics, chemistry, and biology, the instruction is tailored to the secondary level, specifically up to the 5th year of secondary education in Belgium.

Whether you prefer lessons at your place, my place, or remotely, I am flexible to accommodate your needs. If necessary, I can travel to your home in Brussels, Walloon and Flemish Brabant, with a minimum duration of 2 hours per session. The classes I offer are for students in grades 1 through 6 of high school. I graduated from Sint-Jan Berchmans College in science/mathematics, and I've just finished my master's degree in energy from UCL as a civil engineer, so I've put in a lot of hours of math and science. As an engineer, I would like to help other students navigate the sometimes complex world of mathematics and physics.
