Hello there! My name is Maksim and I am a professional cellist and soloist from Belarus Currently, I am studying at the Basel Musik Akademie where I am pursuing Ergänzungsstudium with Danjulo Ishizaka. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and a Master's degree in Soloist Performance at Basel Musik Akademie (with Prof. Thomas Demenga).
Besides giving solo and chamber concerts, teaching cello is my second passion! I enjoy sharing my experience with my students and watching them grow. With over 5 years of experience in private teaching, I have a diverse group of students from different countries, since I offer both online and in-person lessons. If you are a professional or advanced cellist who wants to dedicate their life to music, I would be more than happy to help you on that path
I am fluent in English and Russian, and currently working on achieving a B2 level in German (currently at B1).

Présentation

Maksim is a highly acclaimed Belarusian cellist who has won many international competitions and performed with numerous orchestras. He has participated in many international festivals and is an enthusiastic performer and interpreter of contemporary music. He recently performed with well-known harpist Alexander Boldachev at the festival in Zurich, premiering a piece called "Fondamenta della Misericordia," written for them by Belarusian composer Valery Voronov. Maksim plays a modern cello made by Thiemo Schutter and Rahel Widmer in 2022 in Bern.

- Glinka Music College in Minsk (graduated in 2015)
- Moscow State P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory (graduated in 2020)
- Master in Solo Performance at the Academy of Music in Basel, Switzerland (graduated in 2022)
- Post-Graduate Studies in Basel under Prof. Danjulo Ishizaka (current)
