I have over 600+ hours of tutoring experience, am a novelist, published by Cassava and Scholastic and an Oxford graduate with an MA Oxon in English Language and Literature, I’ve also got a Master’s in Philosophy where I focused on philosophy of language.

My classes are tailored to the needs of the student but are steeped in research based methods on how to attain a language swiftly, speak with confidence, master nuance, and be culturally adept as well. Too often language courses forget to tailor language to the context. Mine do not.

I’m a novelist, currently also a neuroscience grad student with a former life as a corporate executive at Accenture. I write forgotten histories about communities overlooked across time. My first book In the Palace of Flowers was set in Iran, named one of Times Radio’s top 5 books of the year, a Harvard special recommendation and named to African Arguments’ Best Books of 2021. My last essay for Granta was declared Best of the Literary Internet by LitHub and endorsed by Pen/Faulkner.

The “forgotten” is a central facet of my life and work. Tutoring is about focusing and attending to students who need more support that they are receiving in their class or have ambitions that cannot be catered to in the classroom, or are not able to access a traditional classroom. My tutoring practice is thus centred on the comfort, ease and needs of the student. I prioritise making them feel seen, visible, dignified because that is when their confidence and capabilities will shine. It is in these settings that they begin to thrive.

Hello,

As a second year law student, I offer to give lessons to students from primary to high school in more literary subjects but also help with homework.
I obtained my bac ES mention bien in 2019 with the European English and Latin section option. I particularly like to pass on my knowledge, help the students to improve themselves and that they be proud of the work accomplished!

As a student in preparatory classes, rigor is one of my traits that allows me to assimilate the lessons well with simple and effective approaches. The English language like any other language requires perpetual and gradual monitoring. My method is based on the use of any physical means to let the language insinuate, in other words, to listen and communicate then to master the language tools. The idea is to trace the foundations, the accent in the unconscious which will automatically translate the grammatical courses without complications.
