I specialize in teaching Arabic and Darija to non-native speakers. My goal is to challenge but not overwhelm the student. I give homework after each lesson and provide periodic progress reports. Furthermore, I teach my students how to speak Moroccan Darija in a few months. The lessons are online via Teams. Hi, I'd love to help you learn French, whether it's from scratch or to help you improve. I love to let my students speak because I strongly believe that practice is the key to learning a language and improving your knowledge. During our first lesson we will discuss your goals and level and I will tailor a lesson for you. I like to structure my classes according to topics based on everyday life situations (how you introduce yourself, how to make an appointment, go shopping, go to the doctor, professional language, etc.). We will go through the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. If you are an average person, we will also give some lessons on reading comprehension + speaking. As a bachelor Language and Literature (Dutch-French) and master Business Communication (Dutch-French) I have a broad knowledge of Dutch and French for both private and business use. I am currently working as an account manager for an IT company in the Brussels region. That means that I often have to make phone calls in French. In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

A qualified language coach with 24 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online. I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam. Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach. In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).
