Als je moeite hebt met een specifiek vak dan kunnen we samen kijken waar je goed in bent en waar we ons tijdens de sessies het best op kunnen focussen. Een paar vakken waar ik in het verleden studenten in heb begeleid zijn: wiskunde, bedrijfseconomie, economie, rekenen, accounting/accountancy, cost accounting, managerial accounting, financial accounting, corporate finance, risk management en investments. Ik geef tips over welke informatie het meest belangrijkst is, hoe je je het beste kan voorbereiden voor het vak, en hoe je toetsvragen het best kan lezen. Deze methode blijkt erg effectief!

Tijdens mijn sessies begeleid ik vrijwel iedereen! Van scholieren op het vmbo tot (bijna) afgestudeerden aan de universiteit, in alle financieel- economische vakken. Hierdoor heb ik een begeleidingsstructuur ontwikkeld die effectief, efficiënt, en leuk is.

Tijdens examentrainingen werk ik met oude examens met een focus op de laatste ontwikkelingen in het vakgebied. Zo zorg ik ervoor dat leerlingen de examenstof goed in de vingers krijgen en met zelfvertrouwen de examens ingaan. Tijdens de trainingen leer ik de scholieren hoe een examen qua structuur in elkaar steekt zodat het zich vertrouwd voelt met het uiteindelijke examen.

Bijlessen of huiswerkbegeleiding worden in overleg vormgegeven. Sommige scholieren of studenten hebben baat bij samen opdrachten maken, waar andere meer behoefte hebben aan uitleg over de theorie.

My goal is that you can explain to me the theory or initial problems you encountered in the first place.
It is also possible to receive tutoring with two or more people. Group tutoring encourages challenges and reduces the effort to make progress. Every additional participant receives a 40% discount! Reservations from two hours minimum.

Ik geef al meer dan vijf jaar bijles; zowel aan jonge scholieren als volwassenen die een masterprogramma volgen. Ik begrijp dat iedereen op een andere manier leert en in mijn begeleiding pas ik me daarop aan. Ik ben Tom en heb mijn master Finance & Investments behaald aan de Erasmus Universiteit. Ik vind het leuk om mijn enthousiasme en kennis over onderwerpen als bedrijfseconomie, economie, financiën en accounting te delen met iedereen die ik begeleid! Tijdens en na mijn studie heb ik gewerkt bij een investeerder, investeringsbank en wetenschappelijk onderzoeksinstituut, en momenteel ben ik bezig met het opzetten van mijn eigen bedrijf. This class is for english speaking students that wish to enhance their performance in mathematics (mainly for high school). Calculus, Algebra, Functions, Probabilities will be the main topics covered. Regarding the study progress, exercises will be at first solved with me and progressively I will give the student autonomy.
