Trusted teacher: Hey there =) Interested in learning piano? Or improving your songwriting or producing? Maybe you are a complete beginner, or maybe you already know a lot and you’d like to expand your skills with some guidance and accountability. I am happy to share what I know with anyone. All ages & skill levels are welcome! Lessons can include: Learning songs & how to practice effectively Understanding harmony and music theory Playing by ear and listening skills Scales, exercises, and proper technique Chord voicings & harmonic wizardry How to improvise and more =) I like to give my students the tools to teach themselves and I believe learning music can be fun and engaging, even when beginning. I'll ask, 'what do you want to be able to do with the piano?' And then I can help you make a plan for how to get there. I have a jazz background and I love to improvise. I have over 10 years of experience playing and performing music, specializing in jazz and improvised music. I studied in New Zealand, earning a Bachelor of Music specializing in jazz piano and composition. I have been teaching piano for over 8 years now, and have been living here in Berlin for 5 years. Location: I offer lessons from a home music studio at my apartment in Plänterwald, Berlin. I can also travel to your location for an extra charge as long as you're not too far away. Language: I generally speak and teach in English, though I can also speak some German to around B1 level. Available times: My teaching hours are between 9am and 7pm, every day of the week except for Sundays. Send me a message and we can organize a time together =)

I am a certified Yoga Instructor with over three years of professional teaching experience, specializing in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Ashtanga Yoga. I hold a 450-hour certification from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (New Delhi) and a Master’s degree in Yoga, along with a 100-hour Medical Yoga Teacher Training certification from IIAS School of Yoga, Noida. My teaching journey has allowed me to guide students across all levels—complete beginners, regular practitioners, and advanced students seeking deeper alignment and strength. I have taught both group classes and one-to-one sessions, focusing on creating a supportive, safe, and empowering environment where students feel comfortable progressing at their own pace. My approach integrates mindful movement, breath awareness, functional alignment, and intuitive sequencing. I deeply believe that yoga is not just a practice but a transformative lifestyle, and I aim to help individuals feel stronger, calmer, and more connected to their bodies. Currently, I am working at a yoga studio in Berlin while expanding my teaching presence within the city. I also create yoga content on my YouTube channel, where I offer accessible sessions for Hindi-speaking communities and women who want to build a consistent wellness routine. What sets me apart is my ability to blend traditional yoga knowledge with modern, practical teaching styles. I bring professionalism, warmth, and clear communication to every class. Whether it is strength-focused Vinyasa, grounding Hatha, or structured Ashtanga, I ensure that every session is engaging, safe, and aligned with each student’s individual needs. I am passionate about contributing to the growing wellness community in Berlin and eager to bring my skills, authenticity, and dedication to a studio or individual seeking a reliable, knowledgeable, and inspiring yoga teacher.

I am a certified chess teacher based in Berlin (DOSB-Trainerin C Leistungssport) and a former competitive player, holding the title of Candidate Master in Russia (FIDE peak 1974). I have taught in schools and privately for many years, working with students from complete beginners up to club-level players. I teach in several languages, and I offer lessons for both children and adults, with each class adapted to the student’s level and goals. For kids, my lessons are friendly, motivating, and easy to follow, especially if they are just discovering the game. I focus on building good habits, clear thinking, and a genuine enjoyment of chess. For adults or more advanced young competitive players, my main focus is tactics, variation calculation, strategic play and ideas, endgames, as well as developing a solid understanding of openings at beginner and intermediate levels. Lessons can be taken one-on-one or in small groups, and parent-and-child sessions are also possible. Depending on where you are located, we can meet online or in person. Every program is tailored individually, whether you’re an adult looking to improve your game or a child taking their first steps in chess. Chess is a wonderful lifelong game. Whether you’re learning for personal growth or looking for lessons for your child, it offers many benefits: improved memory, concentration, logic, patience, critical thinking, and problem-solving. It also provides a calm, fun, and socially engaging environment where students can meet new people and build confidence. If you or your child would like to begin or continue your chess journey, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to answer questions and help you find the right learning plan.

Are you curious about learning the cello, or eager to expand your playing into new sonic territories? I’m Dalai, a Greek-Mongolian cellist, singer, and composer based between Berlin and Melbourne. I offer private lessons to students of all ages and levels — from children picking up their first string, to experienced players seeking creative growth. 🎻 What I Teach & How Fundamental technique & musicality — proper posture, bowing, intonation, phrasing Classical & contemporary repertoire — from Bach to modern works Improvisation, composition & creative exploration — help you develop your own voice Electric / effects / extended cello techniques — looping, pedals, sound design Voice + cello integration, recording & performance coaching Stage presence & confidence building — preparing for recitals, studio work, or collaborative projects My lessons are highly individualized. I adapt to your pace, interests, and goals. I value curiosity and experimentation: we’ll combine structure with freedom so you can grow technically and artistically. 🌍 My Experience & Why I Teach I studied Classical Cello with distinction in Athens and trained further with eminent teachers such as Dimitrios Gouzios, Catalin Ilea, and Lucio Amanti. Since relocating to Berlin in 2008, I’ve been immersed in experimental, free jazz, and contemporary music scenes. I perform in projects like Black Veil and Antiqva, have composed for theater (including The Robbers at Meiningen National Theater), and worked in film & art productions collaborating with composers like Johnny Klimek and Mario Grigorov. Teaching is a core part of my musical mission. I believe technique should serve expression — and that every student’s voice is unique. Whether your goal is mastery of classical works, sonic experimentation, or composing your own music, I aim to support your growth with clarity, empathy, and creative openness.

Nick's approach is patient and thorough, informative and imaginative as well. He always comes up with his own examples in order to test my knowledge on a given exercise and helps me get to the answer at my own pace, rather than handing it to me. He doesn't use a one-size-fits-all method, but rather tailors his lesson in order to get out my full potential, even in a field I find difficult. He makes himself available for additional questions and is overall great to work with!
