I teach math in a way that makes sense to students, so they understand it, master it, and enjoy it. The goal is not just to improve grades and scores, but to teach children how to think critically, solve problems and work independently – important tools that last a lifetime. My main objective as an educator is to present students with opportunities that will allow them to learn. My vision of teaching includes presenting a motivated learner with information, ideas, and activities that are carefully designed The ultimate goal of any educator should be to enable his/her students to achieve their potential, not only in a specific class, but in life in general. I attempt to attain this goal through four major techniques: providing a friendly atmosphere, providing encouragement for all groups of students, adapting my courses via collecting data to identify the techniques that are most effective in helping students learn, and helping students transition to their undergraduate experience
