First, I answer the student's questions. Then, for the lessons, I detail each point of the lesson, in order to make sure with the student that everything is correctly understood. Then, we create together cards that summarize the essential points of the lesson. For the exercises, I correct each question with the student, re-explaining the course concepts if necessary. Biology being a fairly complex discipline, with concepts and theories that integrate many elements, I rely on visual approaches, such as diagrams and tables, to facilitate understanding by the student. Since I worked in the biology research environment for 2 years, I continually enhance my course with examples that come from the research environment, which always makes the courses more interesting!
