Holder of the Supélec engineering degree, and the Master of Science in Mathematical Ingenieering from the University of Dallas, I worked at Dassault Systèmes as a CATIA CAD / CAM software development engineer. Passionate about mathematics and pedagogy, I am ready to help any student from the 6th to the Terminale S in this discipline to not only make progress but also to make him discover the playful and concrete nature.

A student at Efrei Paris, digital engineering school, I offer private lessons to students with certain difficulties in Mathematics and English. Having gone through a preparatory Maths Physics-Chemistry class, I have the required qualities to support the student until the final. I will come back to badly understood notions and will offer simple exercises for applying the course up to slightly more complicated exercises depending on the student's level of understanding and adaptation. In physics, we study many topics related to matter, energy, charges, and others. I am interested in teaching physics so that the information reaches the student completely.

This class is meant for anyone who wants to speak fluently in English. Based on the individulas interest and requirement classes will be tailored. The purpose of the class is to let the individual feel confident and to adapt to using the language in real life situations.

During my high school education in Portugal, I found myself unchallenged and unmotivated by the math curriculum. Seven years later, as a mathematician at the beginning of my academic career, I think I'm an ideal tutor for students in a similar position—interested in math but not quite finding what they need at school. I'm also available to help more advanced students (from university or beyond) who need advice and direction on university-level topics. Additionally, I'm happy to help adults who need help restarting their mathematical education or filling in gaps in their understanding. I'm interested in talking about anything mathematical, from linear inequalities to Hilbert's Nullstellensatz. I'm also familiar with computer science, both in theory and practice. I can easily take the reins and "lecture" on most topics but would prefer to steer towards whatever the student finds interesting. I strongly believe that learning math is an active, creative process. Although I attended high school in Portugal and speak Portuguese fluently, I spent my earlier childhood in the United States. I studied at the University of Coimbra from 2016 to 2021, graduating with a degree in pure mathematics. My final GPA was 19/20, and I received the exclusive "Prémio Doutor Renato Pereira Coelho." My thesis was on geometric control theory, and I maintain an interest in differential geometry. After 8 months working in industry as a computer engineer, I decided that I needed to follow my passion in mathematics and am currently looking to start a doctorate degree. As far as research, I'm broadly interested in stochastic processes, decision theory, and applied category theory.

Whatever might happen on this planet, Russian will still have a role to play and will retain its status as one of the world's most important languages. As a native Russian speaker, I'll try to make you "feel the flavor" of this language, and as a certified teacher of English, I'll teach Russian through English so that you can master this extremely difficult language.

Classes are held in an interactive format, so that attention is paid to all four types of communication skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. In the case of special wishes of the student, preference is given to one aspect, for example, reading or speaking. At the beginning of each lesson, we set a goal, and at the end we sum up the results. I give my students feedback so that they could evaluate their progress.
