I like to consider myself as a positive and happy person. I really enjoy all related with latin america culture. During all my life I have been dancing salsa, bachata, reggaeton or any similar to these, eating tasty food and just enjoying the life.

That is way my lessons have this atmosphere so you are really going to enjoy it. I would like to think that countrys culture could be learned from the distance if you know someone from there. So that is the extra that I offered in my lessons.

Bildung

I am studying my Msc in Earth Surface and Water at Utrecht University, before that I studied Physic Geography in Ecuador. But I am always trying to learn different things from different people.

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

I always enjoy to teach, from salsa lessons until maths, and of course languages as spanish or english, even french (no really good) some times.

Soy una estudiante española que vive en los Países Bajos. Me gustan mucho los idiomas: hablo alemán y español a nivel bilingüe, curso mis estudios en inglés y tengo un nivel intermedio alto (B2) en francés y neerlandés. El conocimiento de estos idiomas y la amistad con personas de otras procedencias facilita mi comprensión de los problemas que puede tener una persona que aprende español como lengua extranjera.

My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.

I have a FPELE certificate: Spanish as a Foreign Language Teacher Training. And I have taught A1 to B2 level at a language institute in Spain.
