I work part time tutoring and giving lessons teaching English aside from being a student at the UGA in Grenoble learning the French language. I am from America and English is my native language. My private sessions are aimed towards adults looking to improve their English speaking skills through conversation and different exercises aimed at improving their specific needs. Lessons are tailored for every individuals specific needs. For example, learning vocabulary in different contexts of professionalism or travel, conversational skills, completing homework or other assignments in English, or even translating documents from French into English for school or work.

Learning and teaching others is a crucial part of life for me. In many ways learning and education is what improves our well being and helps us become the people we want to be. I began my interest in teaching and working with others in college. I was a summer camp counselor or a special needs camp and then realized how important communication is on multiple levels.

Since College I've traveled to Sweden, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain, and currently live in France. My travels have showed me the importance that communication holds in the world and now I'm dedicating some time to learn French and learn a new culture.

For English, I offer reminders of conjugation and grammar essential to the good use of English. Typical Course of a Session:

Conversation and exercises in English: The last part of the session is dedicated to a conversation in English which can include discussions on grammar, vocabulary or specific exercises in English or communication. Homework is always linked to the lesson of the day.

Multiple choice correction: Errors are corrected by providing several possible answers to the student, who must choose the correct one, rather than telling them directly what is incorrect.
