Julius - Reinickendorf60€
Trusted teacher: (German version further down) I enjoy teaching because it requires a deeper knowledge of the material than if one is only performing music. I am continuously learning too. I do not think that it is important how old you are or in what environment you grew up. To engage with music as a result of learning an instrument can bring your brain into a healthy state of ongoing change. People who are "without any talent" for music do not exist. Everyone can engage with music and enjoy it. I can teach piano: - involving sheet music or not, depending on what you prefer. - or/and music theory lessons - or/and improvisation - or/and Jazz - or/and Ear Training - or/and Composition. The lessons can be held in English or German or a mixture of both. I teach close to Friedrichstraße in Berlin. The lessons can be done via Skype too. You can read about me as a performing musician here: Julius (*1995) is a German pianist and composer, graduated from the University of Arts Berne in Switzerland in 2017 with honors. In July 2019 he finished his Masters in the European Jazz Masters Program through the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen with exchange semesters in Berlin and Amsterdam. Throughout his studies, he was lucky enough to receive artistic guidance from Colin Vallon, Django Bates, Harmen Fraanje, Simon Toldam, Peter Bruun, Greg Cohen, and Michael Moore. Julius was granted a scholarship by Lyra Stiftung Zürich in 2015 and 2016. Tours with his own bands have been supported by different fundings from Switzerland and Germany. He performed all across Europe during the past years. German: When teaching, it's important to have a deeper understanding of everything than when "just" making music. I'm always learning as a teacher. It doesn't matter how old you are or whether you grew up in a music-rich or music-poor environment. Engaging with music can put our brains into a healthy state of constant change and growth. There are no people who are "talentedless" when it comes to music. Everyone can engage with music and enjoy it. I offer lessons with or without sheet music, depending on your preference. If you're interested, I also teach music theory, improvisation, jazz, ear training, and composition. Classes are held in German or English, or a mixture of both. I teach near Friedrichstrasse in Berlin. Classes can also be held via Skype. Here is an insight into my musical work: Julius (*1995) is a German pianist and composer working in the fields of jazz and improvised music. He completed his bachelor's degree at the Bern University of the Arts in 2017 with distinction. In July 2019, he completed the European Jazz Masters at the Rytmisk Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, with exchange semesters at the Jazz Institute Berlin and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. In 2015 and 2016, he received a scholarship from the Lyra Foundation in Zurich. His bands' tours have been regularly supported by German and Swiss foundations in recent years. Julius has played concerts all over Europe in recent years.

Raphael - Berlin29€
Trusted teacher: I am a French and Brazilian tutor, specialised in tutoring students French and Portuguese and helping them prepare for exams such as the DELF/ DALF and IB (in French) and the CIPLE/DAPLE (Portuguese). Last year I have become an IB French teacher for The International Sharing School, and I am currently working part time as an online French teacher for MyLingoTrip School. Therefore my schedule is flexible and I am actively accepting new students. I have tutored several adults and young professionals in Portuguese and French, for the past 5 years. With more then 4 languages in my arsenal and an intensely multicultural background, I have a mature knowledge about the broad senses of language and a great mastering of its nuances. With years of professionalism, translation practice and teaching, my skills and resources allow me to help anyone reach their goal! Furthermore, in my language education roles, I focus on students who have the goal to work in French or Portuguese speaking countries, so I have tailored my curriculum in order to allow them to rapidly develop relevant business communication skills. My classes are really dynamic and I can easily adapt to what the student is looking for (improving grammar, vocabulary, written skills, conversations). I see language as something very stimulating and playful to learn. It is truly helpful to learn new communication skills, for the everyday life but also for improving new connections, professional opportunities and travels around the world. I am very patient and always strive for improvement. I am looking forward to hearing from you, and do not hesitate if you have any questions. I am here for you!

rating green star
I’ve had lessons with Chaazi for a few weeks now. Our lessons have been quite technical at my request. We’ve focussed on breath exercises and have practiced stretching my vocal range. The improvements and comfort in trying new songs has been remarkable. Chaazi is skilled, kind & a friendly presence. I’m delighted that our paths crossed.

I've been looking for a violin teacher for my kids and was happy to find Kellie, who is a patient and knowledgable teacher. My kids were happy to have an instructor again and motivated to practice new songs. Kellie is also very responsive and communicative. I would recommend her to others.
