About Me

Teaching since 2011, first in Paris, then in Oxford (UK), Bordeaux, Geneva (Switzerland), Nagasaki (Japan) and finally in Sceaux since 2026.

A graduate of the London College of Music (UK) with a Licentiate Teaching Diploma in Guitar Teaching (LLCM(TD)), I am a certified member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT@LCM). I have also received a Level 8 Performance Award with Distinction in classical, folk, and electric guitar.

As a singer-songwriter, I have experience playing in bands and performing live, both in a rock band and a folk duo. Having worked in a music store for several years, I have acquired in-depth technical knowledge of instruments, particularly in instrument making.

By adapting to each student's personality, my goal is to help them progress by instilling in them the joy of learning. Being a guitarist is, above all, being a musician!

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

My name is Matéo and I am 26 years old. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching it for 5 years. After studying at the conservatory and music school, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) specializing in jazz guitar.
