Hello! I have been teaching English for five years, to adults and children alike. I offer classes that are uniquely adapted to the students needs and their interests. My aim is to build my student's confidence, by following their line of inquiry — engaging in a rich, and increasingly challenging dialogue with the individual. My classes are for children and teenagers, who want to: . Develop and widen their vocabulary; . Need help preparing for an exam, a paper or an important interview; . Gain confidence in spoken English; . Attain a fluent level of spoken and written English We will begin by identifying the student's greatest interests — those subjects they are most curious about and topics that stimulate them. These topics will be "stimulators", fueling conversations and language activities that the student themselves will eventually lead. Then, we will identify the student's biggest worries regarding the English language — where they are confused, or tend to make mistakes. This will form the workshop part of the lesson, focused on overcoming tricky grammatical mistakes and revising more complex linguistic and phonetic errors. I also offer the possibility of following a Cambridge exam oriented syllabus, such as Family and Friends, Cambridge Starters, Movers, Flyers, or B1, B2. After 8 years of teaching I have found this tailored approach to be, by far, the most effective. I look forward to collaborating with you soon!

Hello! Originally from London, I'm a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, (2:1 Distinction) in Literature and have been living here in Paris for the past 5 years. I work in the arts as an actor and musician and so I aim to keep these lessons fun and engaging. This as opposed to an intellectual approach. At their core, my lessons will aim to be appealing to a formative mind whose ambition is to learn English in a more modern way and through its association with culture. For that,, podcasts, articles, even screenplays will be useful in my lessons. This class aims to provide a thorough understanding of the English language and how to navigate in and out of it in conversation.
