Emmanuelle - Paris60€
Trusted teacher: I am a professional lyric soprano graduated from the CNSM of Lyon. I participate in productions with the Concert d'Astrée, the Choir of Namur, Accentus, the Opéra National de Lorraine, Choir de la Chapelle Harmonique. I am also on the lists of the Montpellier Opera, Concert Spirituel, Ensemble Correspondances and Radio France choir. I have just finished a production of Haydn's Die Schöpfung at the Opéra National de Lorraine last January-February, conducted by Marta Gardolinska (Guillaume Fauchère choir director), directed by Kevin Barz. I sang solo and in chorus the role of the Trojan woman in Campra's Idomenée in 2021 at the Lille Opera and the Berlin Staatsoper, staging of the fura dels baus, I also sang the solo of Campra's Requiem at the philharmonies of Luxembourg, Lille, Essen Cologne and Berlin with the Concert d'Astrée in 2019 directed by Emmanuelle Haïm. In 2019, I participated in the production of Les Indes Galantes by Rameau with the Namur Choir at the Opera Bastille, directed by Leonardo Garcia Alarcon and directed by Clement Cogitore. In 2022, I participated in numerous productions, notably with the Accentus choir in Beethoven's 9th symphony, the missa solemnis or even a polyphonic baroque project. In 2022 I participated in the production of Hulda by Cesar Franck with the Namur Choir at the Grand Manège de Namur, the Liège Philharmonic and the Théatre des Champs Elysées. My background as well as my skills in lyrical singing allow me to master my instrument well. I am a very curious and very patient person, and I like to find solutions to problems. Transmitting my passion to students wishing to discover or develop their voices, discover their artistic personality would be a great pleasure for me. If I can transmit this joy that I have from singing as well as my acquired knowledge, it would be a great exploration for them as for me.

Trusted teacher: Hi, I am Sarah, Language Teacher, Professional Actress and Acting Coach, native of the United States with over 10 years of experience giving online classes for all levels and for all ages (child, teen, student, adult, executive, professional actor, etc.). Please read the ad to the end before responding. I mainly give private lessons by SKYPE/Facetime etc. Face-to-face lessons are not possible at the moment. For available slots, please understand that the list is not always updated. I can help you prepare for a TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge etc exam, a job interview in English, learn English or improve it quickly and efficiently. School support in English for children / teenagers. For executives etc. I can help you improve your presentations in English. For the children we use songs, drawings, videos and I always try to make the lesson interesting for them. For actors, speaking English fluently and with less emphasis is important for an international career and we work in English using different scenes, roles, accents. For singers, less accent in English is also very important when considering an international career. The courses are both practical and theoretical (grammar, pronunciation, writing texts, improvising and thinking in English, etc.) thanks to my career as an actress and also marketing / the business world (master's degree in Marketing Communication & Languages and the experience of international companies). I use improvisation techniques, communication etc, and in my lessons, each lesson is personalized to the student and his needs. Taking lessons via SKYPE/Facetime is a fantastic way to learn, flexible and very intensive, even more so than a face-to-face lesson. See you soon!

Joanna - Paris19€
Trusted teacher: **COVID19 pandemic update: Given the circumstances and taking our safety into consideration, I am currently not giving lessons in person. I am, however, available for skype lessons. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!** A passionate lover of the English culture and lifestyle, I have acquired official certification equivalent to Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) level, corresponding to level C2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (the highest level possible). After living in the United States for two years, I am currently pursuing a double major Anglais/Etudes Internationales at the Sorbonne University in Paris. My experience in France has taught me that due to the specific nature of the English language and the limited time to practice it, there is an issue when it comes to conversational English. This is what my lessons will focus on - everyday conversational English, correction of accent, learning about stress and sentence dynamics which help you to sound more natural and understanding of phonology and the IPA transcription. If you are shy when it comes to expressing yourself in front of others; if you find yourself lacking the "proper" expressions or tools to engage in everyday conversations; or if you just want to learn what does "hitting the books", "to lose your touch", or to "pitch in" mean - this class is probably for you. And I promise you we'll have a lot of fun while learning! Note: This class focuses mainly on American English.

Eliott - Paris48€
Trusted teacher: Methodology : I use Mathieu Crickboom's Violin method with which I started the violin myself, in addition I use duets as well as studies and concertos that I propose according to the level and desires of the student, it will also be possible that the pieces practiced come from you, which I will enhance with a technical and musical framework. For the very young, I use an appropriate violin method, color games and a fun approach to reading notes allowing you to learn the basics of music without knowledge of mathematics or reading French. I rely on the advice and knowledge that I have developed during my progression with the Professors, Instrumental Groups and Public Figures that I have frequented as well as on my interest in pedagogy and my monitoring of Master Classes on other students and myself to best promote the progress of each one. During my Master's in Didactics, completed with Great Distinction in Namur, Belgium, I considered an approach to the psychology and sociology of learning the violin. This approach is as much in the search for the aesthetics of sound and the work of the ear as in the proprioception and the harmonious bodily feeling necessary for the practice of the violin. The search for playfulness and the pleasure of discovery takes an important aspect in my pedagogy and influences my methodological approach. Progress will be made at each person's pace, and with as much playfulness as possible. My teaching experience: I have been giving private tutoring since around 2016, all ages and levels (from 5 to 60, from beginner to advanced level). I have done numerous replacements in approved conservatories in the Paris region, as a violin teacher, notably Les Lilas, Melun, Maisons-Alfort, Alfortville, Asnières s/seine, and am currently a replacement at the Saint Mandé conservatory. I taught in an ASBL (independent conservatory) in Belgium for a few months, and completed 90 hours of supervised teaching internships as part of the Master's in Didactics. I am currently a teacher in a private music school in Raincy and Drancy. My professional experience is rich in the study of the great concertos of the repertoire, as well as a significant Chamber Music repertoire. I was called to the podium of the Royal Opera of Liège in 'I Lombardi' and 'Falstaff' by Verdi as well as at the Soirées Lyriques de Sanxay in 'La Bohème' by Puccini in 2023-2024. I currently hold a Master's in Instrumental Studies validated with Distinction in 2023 and a Master's in Didactics/Pedagogy validated in 2024 with Great Distinction in the class of Julien Eberhardt, soloist of the Liège Opera as well as Gilles Millet, of the Danel Quartet and Jean-Baptiste Fonlupt, internationally renowned pianist. - Holder of a Master's degree in Didactics/Pedagogy specializing in violin at IMEP in Namur in 2024 - Holder of a Master's degree in Instrumental violin specialization at IMEP in Namur in 2023 - Finalist at the Festivals de Wallonie at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Charleroi in 2021, Trio with Piano and Cello. - Former student at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris-Boulogne (PSPBB) in a dual-course Violin/Musicology degree in conjunction with the Sorbonne. - 1st Prize at the Hong Kong International Music Competition in 2018, Solo Violin, Mendelssohn Concerto. - Holder of a DEM (Diploma of Musical Studies) in Violin at the CRR d'Aubervilliers in 2016. - DEM Cycle of Musical Training at the CRR in Paris followed from 2014 to 2017 (Improvement of theoretical mastery).

Trusted teacher: Hello, I have been a Yoga teacher since 2017, having completed 200 hours of practice at the English school Yoga London (Yoga Alliance certified). I give Restorative, Yin and Hatha yoga classes and sound yoga sessions (sound therapy). Restorative yoga is the most relaxing yoga. It is a gentle, introspective yoga that cultivates inner calm. Unlike most other yogas, there is no muscle strengthening. We simply remain in still postures in order to relax the mind, breathe and relax deeply. Yin Yoga is a slow yoga. The practice of this focuses on connective tissues such as ligaments, bones, joints and even cartilage. It requires little or no muscular engagement. Yin yoga consists of long stretches, combinations of slow and deep breathing as well as postures that must be held for several minutes. Hatha Yoga combines postures much more quickly than Yin and Restorative yoga and it works on strengthening as well as muscular elasticity. It also helps to balance the two hemispheres of the brain as well as to harmonize the body and mind. The benefits of Yoga: - Strengthen the health of joints and bone. - Strengthen the cardiovascular system. - Improve overall body flexibility. - Promote better body posture. - Reduce pain. - Tone the muscles. - Help with digestion (twisting postures). - Reduce stress and anxiety. - Achieve maximum relaxation by cultivating abandonment and letting go. - Help fight depression. I offer one-hour sessions. I speak French, English and Spanish (I am perfectly trilingual). If you would like to take lessons with me, I live in Saint-Mandé.
