I specialise in effective Physics tutoring. I have 27 years of experience and am also an examiner for Edexcel and OCR (including iAL).
I focus on understanding the key concepts and problem solving strategies. Physics is easy when you know how to approach problems.
I use ICT in a variety of ways to make the concepts clearer - Physics is really just maths with pictures! I will help you develop your visualising skills and show you how to apply different methods to answer questions.

I am an experienced Physics Teacher with 27 years of experience. I have deep understanding of the requirements for success in GCSE science, physics and A-level Physics. I have been an examiner for Edexcel and OCR for 10 years. This involves marking real GCSE / A-level papers and I have been consistently praised for my precise and consistent marking.
I am also passionate about Science and Maths and use this together with a variety of learning strategies to help pupils achieve well. I have a successful track record of working with a variety of pupils of with wide range of abilities.
I will quickly work out which aspect of the subject you find tricky and then use careful questioning to help you grasp the deeper concepts so that your understanding is solid and then guide you through exam questions so that you become expert at working out what is required and how to best answer the question to gain full marks.
I have access to a range to learning strategies to best help you as an individual. My tutoring is all about you and your strengths and weaknesses. I will use my expertise to assess you and then help you reach your full potential by showing you how to be successful in the final exams.
