I am qualified with a BA(Hons) in Music from The University of Edinburgh. I have been playing piano for 22 years, and started teaching Piano 7 years ago.

At the moment I am doing all lessons online over Zoom / Skype and offering a reduced initial lesson.

I specialize in classical / pop/soul, but can also help with songwriting, composition, and music theory if that is something that interests you.

The student will learn techniques, stylistic elements, tricks ... already by working on his first tracks: to keep motivation and satisfaction high, the result is always visible!
The lessons are face-to-face and personalised according to the level of experience and the musical style of the student. The presentation of the information is clear and accompanied by practical examples.

I'll show you how to:
- use Ableton Live,
- program and control synthesizers and virtual instruments,
- use microphone and sound card to record your voice and your instruments,
- process sound with effects (plugins) and optimize it for diffusion (mixing and mastering),
- make your songs, from start to the last details.

I also speak Spanish, French, German and Italian.

My name is Maria and I am a professional Violinist. My second instrument is Piano. I have done my music education in Bulgaria and after that I went to Belgium to complete my Master 's degree. Teaching since 2008 I have a good experience working with children and adults . I am familiar with ABRSM Grade system. The development of listening to the inner song is at the heart of my teaching.

For beginners: songs, games, improvisation, creation. The links with song and rhythm are very important to have a healthy foundation. The musical notions are approached gradually by experience then by recognition. Reading and writing are brought about by creation and musical composition.

For the more experienced, polyphony and difficult passages can be approached with different tools, by awareness of harmony and melodic modes and polyrhythm. Sometimes it is enough to be aware of simplicity to overcome difficult passages.

I push to go further in the quality of the interpretation with simple means to better understand the music and thus allow more expressiveness and freedom.

I also offer improvisation, harmony,
lessons in musical ensembles, especially vocal polyphony for children, and lessons for specific needs, for example just intonation for singers or other instruments.

I am a guitar teacher with 4yrs experience teaching both privately and for Eric Lindsey Music in Catford. I am also a professional songwriter, performer and recording artist. I am offering lessons in person in Brockley, South East London, or via Zoom, Facetime or any other online video platform. I have graduated with a 1st Class degree in BMus Popular Music from Goldsmiths University of London. I can teach a range of styles including folk, classical, jazz, rock and alternative, pop, punk, and can cater to a range of needs, whether you’re starting grades, want to learn to read music, understand scales/music theory, or want to just learn some songs (or even how to write/perform/record some yourself!). Hello, my name is Lara and I am a classical piano student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the heart of London.
