Italian lessons for all levels from A0 to C2, for all profiles from children to adults. I use a communicative approach, the lessons are based on student's targets and interest, I teach general Italian, Italian for travelling, Italian conversational, exam preparation and much more.

I have over 12 years of experience teaching online Italian classes, adapting to the most diverse goals and profiles. I have supported university students preparing to study abroad, professionals working with Italian companies, and individuals who need to certify their Italian level with official exams such as CILS or PLIDA, with excellent results. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

Albanian as a language is very distinguishable as it has its own branch in the Indo-Europian language tree. It is an ancient language transferred from the Illyrians who lived in the Balkan peninsula. As it is my native language, I have always helped and tutored people who are ethnically Albanian but have been raised outside of Kosovo or Albania and do not have a complete understanding of their mother tongue. Together, we will focus on all fundamentals, including the core bases of Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. Throughout lessons, we will practice together with additional homework. In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course). As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish).
