Je m'appelle Beeta et je suis étudiante en première année de Master à l'école de droit de Sciences Po Paris. Je viens d'obtenir mon diplôme de Licence en Sciences Politiques à Sciences Po Paris sur le Campus de Menton, où je me suis spécialisée en Politique et Gouvernement et où je me suis spécialisée sur le Moyen-Orient et la Méditerranée.

Je parle couramment l'anglais (britannique), le français et le farsi - et j'essaie actuellement d'apprendre l'arabe (A2 jusqu'à présent, donc je progresse lentement mais sûrement).

J'adore apprendre de nouvelles langues parce que j'adore voyager, et voyager sans comprendre la langue maternelle, pour moi, c'est comme essayer de marcher dans une piscine au lieu de nager - ça enlève tout le plaisir ! L'apprentissage des langues nous donne la possibilité de mieux comprendre les idées et les émotions des autres, ce qui rend les interactions beaucoup plus enrichissantes et stimulantes.

My name is Beeta and I am a first-year Master's student at Sciences Po Paris Law School. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris on the Menton Campus, where I majored in Politics and Government and focused on the Middle East and the Mediterranean.

I am fluent in (British) English, French, and Farsi - and I am currently trying to learn Arabic (A2 so far, so I am making slow but steady progress). I love learning new languages because I love to travel, and traveling without understanding the native language, for me, is like trying to walk in a pool instead of swimming - it takes all the fun out of it! Learning languages gives us the opportunity to better understand other people's ideas and emotions, which makes interactions much more enriching and stimulating.

In addition to traveling and learning languages, I enjoy debating and public speaking. Having debated competitively for most of my academic career, I find that structured dialogue allows us to better understand our own ideas, be more critical of them, and be more open to adapting them.

Finally, I love swimming. During my university studies in the Alpes Maritimes, I was lucky enough to have daily access to my favorite landscape: the sea! So it would be a shame not to swim.
