Hi, my name is Bernard, just call me "Bern" for short. I'm a graduate Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. Like all great learning it changed and transformed me and I feel it will do the same for all of you.

I am an EFL teacher, teaching English to multi-level students through online and classroom classes. I can speak and teach Cebuano as my native language, Tagalog as my national language and of course the English language. I try to live my life as creative as possible. I cook, play video games, and watch Korean dramas. I am an optimistic, friendly and approachable type of teacher. So, don't be afraid to commit mistakes, it's part of our learning though.

There are many techniques, skills, and practices that can make a teacher effective. In my opinion, being an effective teacher means allowing an environment that enables students to learn in the classroom to their best abilities. When effective teaching is practiced, students develop a love for learning and gain new knowledge about what they are studying. Effective teaching can stem from many different practices and ideas such as attitude toward subject matter, implementing different learning styles into lessons, and being passionate about the subject being taught. All of these ideas can help me become more effective in the classroom. It is true that effective teaching also allows students to better understand new material and difficult content.
