About Me

Programming is notoriously difficult to learn, even with the right teacher(s). Many college curriculum overwhelm students and suffer from pacing problems; either they move too quickly or too slowly for students. I recognize that some students need one-on-one coaching in order to tackle this recondite subject.
I seek to solve this problem by working with each student at his or her own pace. I treat my students with respect and patience. More importantly, I know how difficult it is to learn to program. I struggled a lot in college, in part because I didn't have the right kind of coaching. I have become this kind of coach.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon, in 2003. I stay on the cutting edge of current technologies.
