Hello, my name's Alina! Originally a biology major, I switched to the arts (particularly writing) as I have a knack for story building and creativity that I've wanted to make clear for myself and others.

Though I've had experience working with others on projects, this is my first time teaching people about something I know, so despite being on the shyer side, I'm excited to see what's in store for this part of my life.

I'm accepting of all students and believe in the idea that the best class is one that is open to discussion, thought, and critique. Since I'm quite tech-savvy, I'm almost always available to answer student responses, and want to provide them with the most and highest-quality information I can give them.

Outside of writing, I like to work on films, listen/play music, do art, read comics, cook, go to the gym, explore new places, and go out stargazing when I can.

Formación

Sophomore at Drexel University studying for a B.S. in Screenwriting & Playwriting with a minor in Film & TV Production. Total GPA is a 3.5, but my previous term was a 3.6.

In the past, I've developed my own story for a summer Honors program and collaborated with the program director for my major on his own historical script about atomic Las Vegas at the start of the Cold War. I've also written my own scripts and plays throughout the course of a year now, and planning to develop two scripts into a play and a short film this winter quarter!

Like any form of creative expression, music has its rules, rooted in perception and in the context around us.

We will be able to work on fundamental concepts of musical expression, valid in all genres and also delve into the area that interests you the most (baroque, classical, pop, jazz...)

My course has a non-academic approach and it is open to all: whether you are professionals who want to deepen their musical knowledge, or you are amateurs or beginners we can build the perfect course for you and that will allow you to express yourself or simply to better understand the music you are listening to.

The only thing I highly recommend is knowing how to read music, because it allows us to go much faster. If you are not able, we can start there.

Hi! I’m here to help you with organic and inorganic chemistry. Whether you’re just starting or need help with advanced topics, I can guide you through everything step by step.

I believe learning chemistry should be simple and fun. I explain things in a way that makes even difficult ideas easy to understand. I break everything down so it’s clear, no matter your level. You’ll find chemistry much easier with my approach!

We tell stories every day, that is something inherent to our nature as human beings, but will it work the same for fictional texts? Do you ever feel that something has happened to you and you want to write about it and you don't know how? In this course I want to accompany you to delve into the process of constructing stories, fables and many other narrative texts in order to enhance your writing skills, the way you write and tell things and finally put into words those wonderful experiences that we all have to tell.

Thematic cycles of five sessions, each lasting three hours. Participants write based on instructions. At the end, all the texts are read (and discussed).
Workshops take place on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. European time.
The next series begins on Saturday, August 30th and September 20th. The theme is "Refining Perceptions."

El film documental expande las fronteras de interpretación de la realidad. Este es el punto de partida desde el cual nos reconocemos y nos situamos como documentalistas en relación a nuestro Mundo Histórico. Observar la realidad desde el objetivo de la cámara significa tomar conciencia de nuestro rol en la transformación, tanto narrativa como empírica, de esa realidad. Y en este proceso mediante el cual reconstruimos, transformamos y fabricamos la realidad dentro de un film documental, también debemos investigar, reflexionar y experimentar respecto a las formas posibles de construir un film que refleje fielmente nuestro punto de vista sobre esa realidad. Tradicionalmente, imaginar un film documental implicaba asociar una voz en off informativa con una serie de imágenes ilustrativas que enunciaban una verdad incuestionable, objetiva y neutral sobre el tema tratado. Hoy, somos conscientes que esa representación siempre es subjetiva y que en este proceso de creación, la exploración narrativa y estética nos permiten recrear en pantalla –teniendo a la realidad como materia prima y conociendo la diversidad de materiales, técnicas, soportes y recursos disponibles- esa imagen mental del mundo que es personal, auténtica y única.

Soy Licenciada en Artes de la Escritura y acompaño procesos de escritura desde un enfoque práctico y personalizado.

En mis clases trabajamos para que puedas:

• Mejorar estilo, estructura y ritmo narrativo
• Transformar ideas sueltas en cuentos o proyectos más largos

No es un taller teórico: se escribe desde la primera clase. Cada encuentro incluye consignas específicas, lectura guiada y devoluciones detalladas para que avances de manera concreta.

Trabajo con adolescentes, jóvenes y adultos. No necesitás experiencia previa, solo interés por escribir.

El film documental expande las fronteras de interpretación de la realidad. Este es el punto de partida desde el cual nos reconocemos y nos situamos como documentalistas en relación a nuestro Mundo Histórico. Observar la realidad desde el objetivo de la cámara significa tomar conciencia de nuestro rol en la transformación, tanto narrativa como empírica, de esa realidad. Y en este proceso mediante el cual reconstruimos, transformamos y fabricamos la realidad dentro de un film documental, también debemos investigar, reflexionar y experimentar respecto a las formas posibles de construir un film que refleje fielmente nuestro punto de vista sobre esa realidad. Tradicionalmente, imaginar un film documental implicaba asociar una voz en off informativa con una serie de imágenes ilustrativas que enunciaban una verdad incuestionable, objetiva y neutral sobre el tema tratado. Hoy, somos conscientes que esa representación siempre es subjetiva y que en este proceso de creación, la exploración narrativa y estética nos permiten recrear en pantalla –teniendo a la realidad como materia prima y conociendo la diversidad de materiales, técnicas, soportes y recursos disponibles- esa imagen mental del mundo que es personal, auténtica y única.

Apprendre le français par la lecture et l'écriture, de texte adapter aux élèves selon leurs choix actualitées, fantasy polar, etc.. Pour les cours d'écriture créative, je peux m'adpater aux demandes de mes élèves, s'ils veulent travailler sur un sujet particulier.
