My name is Dailyn and I'm originally from America but now based in London.

I’m a creative, screenwriter, poet, blogger, chess player, skateboarder, and dart thrower. In my own work I am drawn to stories that delve into eerie and unconventional concepts which highlight the human experience.

This writing module is based on a pedagogy that has a sharp focus on writing as practice and craft, but in a practical and experiential work environment. Rigorous training in the processes of writing and editing will accompany one-on-one guidance from the Senior Editors and mentors including myself, and involve rewriting and studying real submissions across fiction, humour, commentary, poetry and more.

Our curriculum has been developed to provide an exhaustive dive into the nitty-gritties of wielding the written word. The objective is simple: to play on your strengths as a writer or editor and help you find your distinctive voice. This is a competitive and exclusive programme, and we only select 5 applicants for each six-week session.

Si tienes una pulsión creativa, pero te cuesta organizar las ideas, te frena la página en blanco o necesitas consejos sobre cómo organizar tu material de apoyo o la estructura interna de la obra... Si buscas crear y dar consistencia a tu mundo o las claves para dar vida, solidez y realismo a tus personajes, en este curso te ofrezco la posibilidad de descubrirlas de la mano de un autor con más de 20 años en el oficio, especializado en el género. En este curso de iniciación exploramos lo necesario para que, partiendo de cero y sin experiencia, puedas comenzar a proyectar con solvencia tu trabajo hasta el nivel de primer borrador.

COMPOSICIÓN:
El curso (unas 6h. aprox) se compone de clases únicas de 1 hora de duración (Incluye actividades ) prorrogables si se necesita. Al final de cada módulo cursado se provee al alumno del PDF con el resumen de los bloques de materia vistos en ese módulo. Al final del curso proporcionamos su versión integra en video (divididos en bloques de unos 20m/bloque) para que puedas repasarlos cada vez que quieras.

Este seminario de 6 clases propone un recorrido profundo por la vida y la obra de Andrei Tarkovski, uno de los directores más grandes e influyentes de la historia del cine.

Clase 1: Biografía y formación
Se abordará su infancia, su crianza en un entorno católico dentro de la Unión Soviética, el contexto social y cultural de la época, su formación como estudiante de cine y sus primeras películas. El objetivo es comprender de dónde nace su mirada artística y espiritual.

Clases 2 a 6: Filmografía y lenguaje cinematográfico
Se realizará un análisis completo de su obra, siguiendo un recorrido cronológico por sus películas para identificar temas, obsesiones y transformaciones a lo largo del tiempo.
Trabajaremos su estilo y lenguaje cinematográfico:
– el tiempo y el ritmo
– las atmósferas
– la memoria
– los símbolos
– lo espiritual
– la construcción de sentido a través de la imagen

También se abordarán dos ejes fundamentales:
