Violin lessons for adults, all levels

Have you always dreamed of knowing how to play the violin but you think it will take you at least 10 years to be able to play a piece and you lack time for lessons and practice? Over the years, I have developed a methodology particularly adapted to the needs of adult beginners (schedules, time management, work methodology, rapid and targeted progression, directories on demand). My goal is to quickly gain autonomy over the repertoire of your choice (classical, variety, jazz, etc.). Learning the violin also requires additional education in musical training. This is why I integrate into my courses a teaching in musical training adapted to the level of each one. Graduated from the Regional Conservatory of Nantes, I have been a violin teacher for 15 years (Nantes, Dijon, Montpellier, Paris). Also a concert artist, I am a member of various orchestras and chamber music ensembles (Paris, Lille). I perform regularly at concerts and festivals.

I am a passionate music performer and educator, and a recent Master of Music graduate of Indiana University. Violin lessons with me are flexible, fun and they focus on the music you love! Are you a beginner with no experience? I will give you all the tools you need to start your musical journey. Do you have a few years of experience playing the violin or other musical instruments? We will build on your knowledge and work together to reach your goals. I believe in the importance of having a foundation in classical technique, but we will also have fun learning songs and pieces that inspire you! Do you love pop, rock, jazz, musicals, famous movie songs, or classical pieces? Great, we can get right to work! Beginners, intermediate, and advanced students are all welcome! In the lessons, we will play the violin, get to know each other, talk about your interests, and discuss lesson goals and structure. My teaching approach is interactive, using a combination of engaging activities, demonstrations, and games to help students apply the concepts taught. My teaching style is encouraging and patient, and I am committed to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for my students. I believe that every student has the potential to learn to play the violin and I am committed to helping students strengthen their confidence and explore their creativity. Violin and solfege lessons will help you aquire skills to better your playing and music reading and interpretation. Together we will choose the best way possible for you to learn and have fun while doing it, and set goals that are the most suitable for you.

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

Anna Zerdecka was born in Riga, Latvia. She was seven years old when she received her first violin lessons. From the age of 14 she began to study in Riga in "Emila Dārziņā" Music College with Professor Ludmilla Girskaja. During her studies she takes part in various competitions such as "Latvian Talents" first prize and "Dvarionas" competition in Lithuania, also master course with Vadim Gluzman After completing her studies in Riga with distinction, she began her further studies in Vienna in 2003 with Professor Jan Pospichal, the concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. In 2011 she completed her master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Since 2011 she has been playing in various orchestras (Tonkünstler Orchestra, Strauss Festival Orchestra, Vienna Cathedral Orchestra, Klagenfurt Symphony Orchestra). Her love for teaching began during her student days in Vienna. She teaches a lot for children and also helps various musicians preparing for auditions, including online. Classes are held in German, English, Russian and Latvian.

More than 40 years teaching experiences both in China and U.S. More than 20 years as a symphony conductor both in China and U.S. Will teach all levels & prepare for school or area music competitions, as well as collage entrance auditions. Emphasize on balances of all learning aspects – basic solfege ear training & sight reading, left hand & right hand techniques as well as musical expressions. Adapt to your individual need & promote the maximum advancement. Emphasize on the enjoyment of music making.

I have a Master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory in the Netherlands and an advanced degree from the Conservatory of the Balearic Islands. I have experience with both children and adults and my goal is to offer a dynamic class and to the musical taste of each student while perfecting the technique to expand the repertoire.

Hello, I have extensive experience with students of all ages as a teacher of music theory, violin and viola. Custom classes, focused on student interests. I studied violin degree at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo in Spain and viola in Spain and at the Utrechts Conservatorium. The research of my final exam was about well-being and phisical education to improve and accelerate the learning process. I want my students to be aware of the importance of good posture and technique in order to enjoy the learning process without problems.
