He was incredibly open when I told him it was my first time and began my lesson without any judgement. Across our three lessons I received a range of support, from practical instruction to training on how to properly stretch and destress. Matias’ teaching was also theoretical; in our first lesson he talked me through anatomical diagrams to help me get better acquainted with the muscles that I would be using during my practical work. Matias was an attentive, sensitive, and lighthearted teacher and his bright and airy Parisian studio space was the perfect place to begin my ballet journey. I cannot recommend his teaching enough!
