Hello everyone and welcome to my English and or German lessons taught in group. I organise English and German lessons for children and teenagers and separately adult English group lessons (beginners to advanced). For children and teenagers, interactive activities are used as a way to motivate them, help them remember what they have learned in class and make sure they will be able to apply their language skills in real life context. For the adults lessons, depending on what the students are willing to learn, we can have discussions based on the news, some grammar, writing... I am open to any suggestions, just tell me your needs and I am going to adapt the next lessons for you. If you wish to invite your friends and make a group with them, just let me know and I will allocate you a time slot. For private English lessons, please have a look at my other advertisements. The German lessons are usually for beginners/ intermediate (exceptionally advanced levels in German can be organised only if there is a high-demand). Many pupils, from kids to adults have made real progress in joining me. May you want to learn, as they did, to express yourself in a foreign language, read, understand, talk and write within the necessary hability, just enroll and have a probation.

Bilingual and passionate about German culture, I have been offering private lessons in German for beginners and intermediate levels for 8 years. I am bilingual, have a Franco-German baccalaureate, and have lived in Germany for 4 years. I also did a preparatory literary class and therefore studied German literature and culture. The construction of my courses adapts to the learning methods of each student. I am methodical, patient, listening to the student, always in a good mood! I like to do rigorous work with grammar and conjugation. But I also like to introduce German culture (music, films, series, history...) and plan times for conversations.

German and French are two particularly useful languages today, with Germany as the leading European power, followed closely by France. Knowing how to speak and write German and French can be a significant advantage in the world of work! English is obviously a 'must' too, and although it is taught in schools, some courses leave something to be desired ... Perfectly bilingual in French and German, and C1 level (TOEFL certified) in English, I offer beginner to intermediate level courses for your children.

The class focuses mainly on Grammar, Writing and Communication Skills. At the beginning of each class we will go through Grammatical exercises and finish with a discussion. In order to make progress each student will have to write an essay for homework. (Length depends on the level) Due to my experience with international students and I can easily adapt the class to your needs. You tell me your weaknesses and we will work on that.

Freshly graduated from a German School of Engineering, I offer private lessons in my native language. I grew up in Germany and spent all my schooling there. I grew up bilingual (French and German). I offer classes at all levels, I move to the student only. I am available every day of the week for classes of at least 60 minutes.

I offer you a German course that is not like the others. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you travel back and forth by train every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Memorise the timetable. 2) Realise that the train comes every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in textbooks and in normal lessons, the first approach is used - in the course I am offering you, it is the second approach because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both pupils and adults who want to learn the German language without time-consuming detours through the madness of fruitless school methods. Learning is easy, but unlearning things that have become bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, with my customised lessons you will greatly accelerate the learning process while having a positive attitude. I offer German lessons for individuals or groups (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive science and historical linguistics in particular. My modular programme can be adapted on a case-by-case basis. The converging point of these modules is your independence in spontaneous conversations in real life. What will not be covered in the course: learning lists of verbs; learning lists of nouns with articles; learning words with their translations; flashcards; doing school exercises; following the syllabus of a booklet; imposing the English grammar on the German language. What is particularly important to me: to motivate my student and to give him a learning rhythm; to encourage his creativity; to befriend him with the language; the letters and their sounds; to strengthen the memory by training the phonological loop; to teach blueprints instead of memorising sentences; to explain how the language works in order to make my student independent as quickly as possible; to eliminate common preconceptions, such as that 'der' would mean masculine and 'die' feminine, that the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, that verbs would be irregular, that declension would be random and therefore would have to be learnt with each verb...; to put practice at the centre and only deal with grammar where necessary. A first lesson will give you a sound idea of my pedagogy.

I offer repetitive courses in German and English, according to your school program or simply out of a desire to develop in these languages. Having obtained my gymnasium maturity certificate in June 2020, I have an intermediate level B1 in these two languages with a small advance on English. I have vocabulary in both languages very favorable for improvement in the language we work.

More concretely, my specialties are: - Beginners: structured learning of grammar you need right away and practice of new knowledge in our dialogues. Vocabulary is taught through our conversations and in word groups. - A1-B2 exam preparation (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages): based on practice material by the Goethe Institute, innumerous websites and own material - Learning by conversation: you can’t stand looking at too much grammar because it’s just not for you? The answer: talk and type! We’ll share a document with all our dialogues. - Refresher training: I can help you get back on track by letting you talk as much as possible. We can also go through grammar and conversation topics that you need to revise. The day of getting rid of pesky repetitive mistakes has come!
