I teach violin to teenagers and adults – from beginners to those returning to playing, and targeted work with advanced players.
My teaching combines classical violin pedagogy with principles of the Rolland method. The focus is on natural, economical movements, a reliable technical foundation, and above all, the question: How does technique actually become music?
Depending on the goal, we work on bowing technique, intonation, sound, position changes, vibrato, coordination, repertoire, interpretation, performance preparation, or on making one's own practice more efficient.
Beginners need no prior knowledge. Advanced students can bring specific pieces, technical problems, or goals.
Lessons are individually tailored instead of following a rigid standard program.
Lessons are available in my studio in Hannover-Südstadt or online, in German or English.
The first hour is designed to get to know your current situation, your goals, and a sensible way forward.
