Hi!

I'm Meryem Melissa. I am 25 years old. I live in Istanbul. I am studying Islamic Sciences in 100% Arabic at Fatih Sultan Mehmet University and I have been teaching Turkish for those whose mother tongue is not Turkish for 5 years.

I have prepared this course for anyone whose native language is Arabic and who wants to learn Turkish for various reasons and want to learn some essential tips for living in Turkey!

I support my lessons with written and visual materials that I will prepare according to the interests and levels of my students.

At the end of each lesson, I aim to reinforce the subjects learned and keep the motivation of the students high with simple assignments that have the quality of repetition.

Outside of the classroom, I maintain my communication with my students through social channels and offer some useful suggestions such as Turkish TV series, movies and songs.

I can understand the difficulties, fears and hesitations experienced when learning a new language. I would like to embark on a pleasant and entertaining journey where we will overcome all these fears together.

I worked as a barista in a cafe in Istanbul where Arabs are busy. I acted as a translator between Arabs and Turks at various events. I give private Turkish and Arabic lessons in Istanbul. I teach Turkish in Turacoon 3 days a week.
