Her early commitment blossomed as she pursued advanced studies at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she refined her musical skills under the guidance of Francesca Barritt and Jeremy Isaac. Her academic pursuits were marked by distinction—achieving both Master of Music with Merit and Bachelor degree with Honours, each accompanied by scholarships major in violin performance.
Throughout her studies, Miss Julie actively engaged in orchestral and chamber music settings under conductor Rebecca Miller’s leadership, performing with notable ensembles such as the Royal Holloway Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, and sharing the stage with the London Mozart Players. These experiences not only enriched her orchestral skills but also deepened her understanding of collaborative musicianship.
Beyond performance, Miss Julie passionately involves in music education. She is a qualified educator with PGDE from the University of Hong Kong, committed to nurturing the new generation. Her students are from both prestigious international and local schools in Hong Kong, and through her teaching, she aims to instill a love of music, creative expression, and individual style. Experience / Qualifications
Have previous experiences in teaching small violin classes and one to one private classes at schools. I speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Have performed in different orchestras both in London and in Hong Kong.
