I have been teaching both the pedal and lever harp for the past 5 years to students ranging from 7 years old to 50! I am very passionate about teaching and hope to inspire my students to love music just as much as I do! I take a patient approach to each student and after a short period of time I am always happy to see great progress in my students playing. Several of my students have won international competitions in 'The Feis Ceoil' in Dublin and have also gone onto study music in university. A lot of my students also learn to play the harp as a beautiful hobby!

About Me

I am an Irish harpist and composer currently studying at The Royal Conservatory in The Hague. I have experience in performance and recitals in venues such as; No.10 Downing Street, Saint James' palace London, The Lyric Theatre Belfast and the Irish Embassy in the Netherlands. I have played with Orchestras such as The Lincoln Symphony Orchestra and The Guildhall symphony orchestra in London.

Education

I was awarded a scholarship to study harp at The Guildhall School of Music, London in 2018 and in 2020 I began my studies at the Hague Royal Conservatory. Prior to this, at the age of 15 I was awarded a music scholarship to study in Wesley College and study harp under Sioned Williams, the BBC Symphony orchestra principal harpist.

Experience / Qualifications

I have been a teacher at the Dundalk school of Harp since 2016 working alongside Trinity College of music London alumnus, harpist Emer Kenny.
