I am a French exchange student, eager to share a piece of home while on this adventure. I am new to tutoring, but I touch upon the dream of being a teacher someday and I am excited for the experience.

I am currently finishing a bachelor degree in human sciences at RUG, but my home university is in France.
I have an 8/9 IELTS certification in English (equivalent to C1)

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

I was a summer camp monitor for 5 years, giving me experience with children aged from 5 to 13. I also occasionally helped my little sister (currently 10) with homework and did a month long intership in a highschool history class. This would be my first experience tutoring, but I am ready to do my best.

I grew up in Germany (mother tongue), and I was raised three languages (Dutch, English). Furthermore, I have knowledge of mathematics and also statistics. My goal is to make studying enjoyable through an alternative and creative approach. I give homework in consultation. Even if there are other courses that require more attention, I can be a support. I study psychology and can offer professional help with motivation problems.

I am an experienced teacher with a Master of Science in Mathematics. As I've studied my Masters in English and spent a year in Italy I also teach those two languages. Since 4 years I am teaching also German (DaF and DaZ).
I love learning languages myself, so I know where the difficulties are. The most amazing experience was when one pupil who I've taught his very first words in German could have a conversation with me. Moments like this fill me with joy and I am working for you to have those moments.
My lessons will be exactly made for you. If you want to learn conversations, that's what we are going to do. If you want to learn grammar, we'll have some grammar lessons.
My Math lessons differ a bit as most of the times there is not really a decision to make. If you tell me the type of exam you are preparing for. I will design a schedule with which we can achieve that goal in any given time frame.
