About Me

Hi there! 🙋‍♀️🌸

My name is Margo and I am coming from Belgrade, Serbia. Currently, I am finishing my bachelor's degree in Graz.
I started playing music when I was less than 8 years old, as a hobby, not realizing it would be my future career. As I grew, so did my love for music. Persistence, perseverance, and patience are qualities of a person who practices and perfects his skills on an instrument.

I participated in numerous competitions in Serbia and abroad and had the opportunity to attend master classes of many professors from different parts of the world.
I have been collecting knowledge for years and I will continue to do so because knowledge is never enough.

I started sharing my knowledge with others very early on, first practicing with younger friends and then giving private lessons.I am very interested in being a professor because I think that with every new student, I get to know a new part of myself.

I am very much looking forward to our mutual collaboration!

I am a violinist, 23 years old from Luxembourg and I am currently doing my Masters degree in Graz (Austria). During the last years I have given violin lessons to various students of all ages and I am very motivated to continue teaching and sharing the love towards music. It is really rewarding for me to support my students and to accompany them on their learning path. Furthermore I followed lessons about pedagogy in music. I am currently employed as an assistant violin professor at the Ljubljana Music Academy and have been working as concert master of Philharmonie Salzburg and Ljubljana Soloists for the better part of the last decade. My concert experience involves soloistic and chamber music performances at prestigious venues and festivals in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and China. My pedagogical approach is very systematic and includes technical preparation, musical interpretation, performance practice of different styles and orchestral audition preparation. I studied violin with Igor Ozim at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and Rainer Schmidt at the Music Academy Basel as well as baroque violin with David Plantier at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. I have lately been dedicating special attention to the performance practice of the baroque and classical eras so you are welcome to consult me on this topic as well as any other violin playing aspect. I am a young and relaxed teacher, willing to adapt my way of teaching to the level and expectation of every individual. Students of all ages and levels are welcome to contact me.
