I studied Japanese, oral and written, for 10 years, including 2 years in Japan. I have a JLPTn2 as well as a bachelor's and a master's degree in Asian studies. In addition, I have experience as a teacher.

I am Japanese native from Osaka and currently living in Geneva, Switzerland. I teach at Japanese School in Geneva and also offer private Japanese lessons from a complete beginner including children to an advanced learner. After understanding each learner's level, interest and goal, I will offer a main textbook and overview of the course plan. I will be using balanced approach that will improve listening, speaking, reading, and writing through proven textbooks, exercises and weigh on the practical conversations. Our Mandarin Chinese and Japanese courses are designed for beginners who want to discover the language and culture, as well as intermediate students who want to improve their communication skills. At the beginner level, participants learn the essential basics: pronunciation, tones, and pinyin for Chinese; hiragana and katakana for Japanese; and simple vocabulary and grammar for introducing themselves, asking questions, and discussing everyday life.
