I give personal and practical Dutch lessons to adults at levels A0–A2. The lessons are suitable for people starting from scratch, but also for students who already understand some Dutch and want to gain more confidence in speaking and understanding it.

During the lessons, we work on speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and basic grammar. We immediately practice new words and grammatical structures in recognizable situations from daily life and work. We also listen to short dialogues and practice how Dutch sounds in real conversations.

For example, we practice:

Introduce yourself and talk about your family;
make appointments;

housing and transport;

About Me

I work in Dutch secondary education and have extensive experience with newcomers and students learning Dutch as a new language. As a result, I know how important clear explanations, structure, repetition, and a safe learning environment are.

My native language is Ukrainian. In addition, I speak Dutch, English, and Russian. I can explain grammar, pronunciation, and differences between the languages clearly and understandably, especially to Ukrainian- and Russian-speaking students.

I learned Dutch as a second language myself and know from personal experience the challenges involved. I work patiently, practically, and personally. My goal is not only for you to learn Dutch, but also to be able to use it increasingly independently and with more confidence in daily life.

University degree in Political Science – Kyiv National University, Ukraine.

In the Netherlands, I completed training and courses in the fields of art and education in Tilburg and Utrecht.

I have successfully passed both the State Examination NT2 Program I (B1) and the State Examination NT2 Program II (B2).

In addition, I have completed training in the Delft method for learning Dutch and the Wereldburgers voor de Klas training program, in which I delved extensively into the Dutch education system and working with newcomers.

Experience / Qualifications

I work as an Art teacher in an International Transition Class (ISK) within Dutch secondary education. There, I work daily with newcomers and non-native speaking students who are still learning Dutch.

I have experience with various NT2 learning materials and methods, including TaalCompleet, CODE+, and LINK+, and with principles from the Delft method.

In my lessons, I combine structured NT2 material with personalized exercises that match the student's level, pace, and goals. I pay close attention to listening, speaking, vocabulary, and the practical use of Dutch.

A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online.

I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam.
Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach.

In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).
