Present Continuous Usage in Detail

I. Formation

- Present tense of auxiliary verb "to be" (am, is, are) + -ing form of main verb

II. Uses

1. *Action happening now*
- Describe an action happening at the moment of speaking
- Example: She is studying for her exam
2. *Action around the current time*
- Describe an action happening around the current time
- Example: I'm reading a book about history
3. *Temporary action*
- Describe a temporary action
- Example: I'm staying with friends for a few days
4. *Future plans*
- Describe future plans or arrangements
- Example: We're meeting for dinner tonight
5. *Annoyance or irritation*
- Describe an action causing annoyance or irritation
- Example: You're always leaving your dirty socks on the floor
6. *Changing situations*
- Describe a changing situation
- Example: The weather is getting warmer

III. Important Points

1. *Stative verbs*: Not typically used in continuous form
- Example: I love this song (not "I'm loving")
2. *Action vs. state*: Be careful with verbs describing both actions and states
- Example: I'm thinking about my next vacation (action) vs. I think this coffee is great (state)

انا حاصل على ليسانس أداب وتربية شعبة اللغة الانجليزيه من جامعة عين شمس فى جمهورية مصر العربية دور مايو عام 1998.حاصل على دورة لتعليم اللغه العربية للناطقين بغيرها من جامعة عين شمس.اعمل فى مهنة التدريس منذ ان التحقت بكلية التربية عام 1994 .لدى خبرة كبيرة اكثر من ثلاثون عام فى هذا المجال .أعشق عملى كمعلم الاجيال واتميز بالهدوء والصبر والمرونة وتنوع الأساليب وطرق التدريس.مؤهل التدريس لجميع المراحل التعليمية ابتدائى واعدادى وثانوى وجامعى.قمت بتدريس اكتر من ثلاثون منهج متنوع من المبتدء والمتوسط وفوق المتوسط والمتقدم .عملت فى العديد من المدارس الخاصة والحكومية عربى ولغات .لدى تراكم خبرات من كثرة التجارب والممارسة تصنع الفارق ففى رأى لا شئ يفوق الخبرة.
