I am a high achieving Year 11 student willing to tutor in English, History and religious studies however I do also achieve highly in science and maths as well as making music and art GCSE so I am willing to offer assistance in these fields of study too.

Finishing Secondary School. This May and am expected to receive high grades. Go to an outstanding grade school and have plans to study further into the given fields.

Leservaring

I used to help with a dance class for young children. I also participate in a self-defense martial art in my free time in order to maintain a safe mindset when traveling.

Learn to speak English like the English do. As a Dutch person, you are often quickly recognizable by your accent and incorrect use of words, expressions, etc. By speaking 'native English' you can often get something done faster, you are accepted faster and in the USA you often have an advantage if you speak 'Queen's English'.

I have been living in the UK for 25 years and in the early years I experienced how difficult it is to really get through to the English if you do not speak the language at their level. You remain a 'foreigner' and therefore an outsider.

As a Dutch person, you quickly think that you speak English well. The English that is taught in the Netherlands is outdated and is often taught by university graduates who have never spent more than a few months in an English-speaking environment, so they have never picked up the real spoken language. You don't really learn a language from a book, you have to experience it or learn it from someone who knows the finer points.

I am a professional translator, a member of the NGTV, TEFL certified and have an international business background.
