Studying the biology of all living things and other components of biology
From 48.7 € /h
Biology can be tricky as it contains lots of different components. This can be introduced slowly as I will provide support over lessons teaching you lots of information but a slow and steady pace giving you questions and answers along the way. Homework will also be provided this is to ensure that the lesson has stuck into your head and you have grasped it. If not there is no worries as things can take a while to learn but by the end you will feel a lot less stress about what you may be learning in biology. You may be finding one specific topic in biology hard and we can always go over that in the lesson or we can find stuff to look over in the lessons to keep your brains up to date for upcoming important exams.

About Me
Hi, I'm Gabriella. I am 19 years old and am currently studying my second year of University. I got 9 GCSEs in high school and took Music, Spanish, BTEC Engineering and Geography. I love animals so wanted to move onto something related to that. I went to an agricultural college and did animal management and got my Level 3 in Animal Management. This helped me significantly to get into my university to study my Foundation Degree in Zoology.
I found high school and college quite hard as I was often in and out due to health reasons, therefore catching up was a struggle. I was often sent to catch up and was sent to be tutored. However I found it very useful as one to ones can be beneficial as you can ask lots of questions and go at your own pace. I was never worried either even though I was slightly behind because I knew that I was still learning the same amount of stuff in the lessons just a lesson behind everyone else and I soon caught up and had the knowledge everyone else did!
My tutoring methods are quite relaxed, I am always one to bring quite a fun and challenging lesson to push and make your brain think. If it is too easy you are more likely to become bored and end up falling asleep, however I will never challenge you too hard as I will never want to overwhelm you.

My goal is to keep students feeling motivated and engaged in the lesson. Feeling more confident in geography will help boost the moral going forward whether they go into doing general exams or SATs or GCSEs or start College. It can seem a lot but I will introduce it slowly so it does not become daunting and homework slowly introduced after the lessons.
In each lesson you will learn a variety of skills and knowledge depending on what I have planned and you are more than welcome to give me work that you have been struggling on so it can be put into the lesson to go through together and practice and learn. This will be based on the school year. It may be from writing notes, drawing and annotating diagrams or maybe drawing shapes. This will always be an interactive lessons as you shouldn’t feel uncomfortable to ask questions.
