Hi there! My name is Matilda and I am Australian. I have a degree in primary education. I have been teaching for 5+ years and feel very passionate about teaching. I know how to adapt lessons to the needs of the learner, as well as creating fun, engaging and stress-free lessons. Ten years ago I had the chance to live in Strasbourg (France) with a french family for three months. They did not speak french so I was completely immersed into the french language. I can therefore understand the difficulties of learning another language. Learning English can feel scary and difficult, but with the right approach it can be a fun experience! English can be easy to learn if you immerse yourself in the language via film, books and conversations (hopefully with me!)

Holder of a bachelor's degree in applied foreign letters in English and Italian, as well as a bachelor's degree in law, I am currently studying translation and interpretation in master's degree. The class focuses mainly on Grammar, Writing and Communication Skills. At the beginning of each class we will go through Grammatical exercises and finish with a discussion. In order to make progress each student will have to write an essay for homework. (Length depends on the level) Due to my experience with international students and I can easily adapt the class to your needs. You tell me your weaknesses and we will work on that.

I specialise in teaching spoken and written English for students of all age groups in schools. I've a Masters in English literature and have taught English to students in UWC schools and other international schools. I use a lot of activities to help students learn effectively.
