. I am a CELTA certified English teacher from South Africa living in Mexico City. I am currently busy learning Spanish and because of this, I can relate to anyone who is in the process of learning a new language - it can be tough! During lessons I like to focus on the individual needs of my students - whether it be practicing conversational skills, grammar based exercises, reading, writing or Business English. I love traveling and meeting people from all walks of life that's one of the reasons why I enjoy teaching English as a second language. If you decide to book a class with me, I will do my very best to help you improve your English.

I graduated from NYFA in 2017 with a higher certificate and thereafter proceeded to obtain a CELTA teaching qualification provided by the University of Cambridge Language Assessment.

I was studying law in Toronto, meanwhile language tutoring part time.
Now I'm in Mexico City taking a break, and would love to continue my teaching career with spanish and english.

The classes are a mix of grammar and conversation. I adjust to your level of English. I introduce some grammar topics and vocabulary cards followed by rounds of questions for conversation. I have experience in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, France, the United States, Panama, Colombia, and Mexico with people like you: teachers, doctors, accountants, entrepreneurs, lawyers, public servants, managers, administrators, engineers, artists, and salespeople. I have worked in different companies in sales, marketing, customer service, and administration departments, in sectors such as tourism, logistics, education, and more. I have a course for each sector.

I adapt my teaching style, methodology, course content, and discussion topics 100% to your requirements, objectives, interests, and needs, and classes include a lot of conversation. We can practice presentations, negotiations, customer service, interviews, email writing, conferences, teleconferences, etc. Classes can be 100% conversational, 100% theoretical, or a mix of: a little bit of grammar, some exercises, some reading, a practice session, a game, or another exercise like the ones I just mentioned, and the other half of the class 100% conversational or conversational with reading comprehension.

You and I will design the course together according to your needs and requirements, and we will create a weekly and monthly plan so that you have clear goals and can see significant progress in a very short period of time. In fact, if you are currently at level B1, in six months you will be at level C1, which is considered bilingual here in the US. Or if you take a daily class, you will be at level B2 in three months, which is considered 80% fluent in listening and speaking.

If your only problem is nerves and you're already at level B2, with my special method based on various psychological techniques such as transactional analysis, among others, you only need three months of classes with me to become 95% bilingual!

I also offer preparation classes for all Cambridge exams, including BULATS, SAT, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC. I have invoices.
