Reviews (1)

She prepared all the materials in advance and was very professional, she always comes on time and never missed any lessons. She is very punctual and gave very good and clear explanations and made sure along the way I could apply what I have learned. Within 5 lessons with her, I understood all the topics we had to cover and I feel more than ready for my test. Elyse has a lot of patients to explain again until I understand what I am learning and she is very motivating. I highly recommend this tutor and I will continue to study with her in the future. Thank you, Elyse

Tom
Experienced economics supervisor with University Finance master. Exam training and tutoring / guidance - University, HBO, VWO, HAVO, VMBO
Do you or your child have problems with economics or business? Then you don't have to look any further for a suitable tutor! I have been tutoring for over five years; both young students and adults who are following a master's program. I understand that everyone learns in a different way and I adapt my guidance to that. I am also well informed about the changing curriculum and exam requirements and the changing assessment methods. In online guidance I use apps to ensure the quality of the lessons. I obtained my Master's degree in Finance & Investments at Erasmus University and I am happy to share my enthusiasm and knowledge of subjects such as economics, business economics, finance and accounting with everyone I supervise! During and after my studies I gained practical experience at an investor, investment bank and scientific research institute, and I am currently setting up my own company. With these experiences I know how to translate theoretical concepts into everyday problems! Feel free to send me a message!

Salah Eddine
Math tutoring for high school students
As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material! We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.

Economics, English, and Business Tutoring. Assist with mastering concepts: Understanding Tools and Mechanisms
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping students tackle subjects that can feel intimidating at first but are incredibly rewarding once you start to understand them. Whether it's Economics, English, or Business, I’ve seen firsthand how small breakthroughs can lead to big moments of confidence. In Economics, I love taking complex concepts like supply and demand, market structures, and economic policies and breaking them down into something that makes sense. I've had many students who started feeling lost, but once we worked through a few examples together, they realized that economics isn’t as difficult as it seems—it’s all about understanding the patterns and relationships. When it comes to English, I’ve helped countless students refine their writing and communication. Whether it’s crafting a compelling essay, improving grammar, or just feeling more comfortable reading difficult texts, I've been there with my students through every step. The best part? Seeing the growth from struggling with basic concepts to confidently expressing themselves in writing and conversation. And in Business, I’ve worked with students ranging from those who dream of running their own companies to those looking to ace their business courses. Together, we dive into the foundations of marketing, management, and finance, and I love seeing those "aha" moments when the dots connect. It’s such an exciting field because it’s all about real-world applications, and I make sure to tie lessons back to the skills students need for future success. What I’ve learned from tutoring in these subjects is that each student has a unique learning style, and my goal is always to tailor the experience to what works best for them. Whether you need extra help preparing for an exam, want to polish your writing, or are looking to understand how business really works in the world, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
