Bass Guitar and Double Bass Lessons in Amsterdam or Online - Learn Technique, Theory, Different Styles, Improvisation and more ...Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hi, I'm Philip! I'm a professional Bass player and teacher based in Amsterdam. I have studied with some of the best teachers in Europe as well as famous bassists from the New York Jazz Scene. Besides my studies I have been actively performing, recording and teaching since age 16, which led me to play at different festivals and venues such as North Sea Jazz, JazzOpen Stuttgart, Bimhuis, DeDoelen Rotterdam. I'm calm and easy going and I want to pass on the knowledge I got from my teachers as well as my own experience. I always focus on getting you ready or better at playing in a band, since that's what we do as bass players! I'm experienced in and open to a wide variety of styles, my specialization being Jazz. ..................................................................................................................... Electric Bass/ Bass Guitar - Double Bass - Music Theory - Rhythm - Groove - Ear Training - Sight Reading - Audition Preparation - Home Recording - Gear ---> Jazz, Pop, Rock, Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop.... ---> I adapt my teaching to your level (complete beginner to advanced) as well as your goals or your style preferences. If you're playing in a band and would like feedback we can set up a Bandcoaching, too.

Are you looking for inspiring piano lessons? Then you have come to the right place. My name is Dywel, Classically trained concert pianist. Taking classical piano lessons with me means getting inspired. My passion is to make fusion music; a mix of styles: Classical, Hiphop, Jazz, R&B and Pop. This way I inspire students to think and make music outside their own frameworks. I can also give you a good foundation in Jazz and Pop. In short, the possibilities are endless and I can't wait to teach you. Further plus points: - Extensive teaching experience with children, teenagers and adults; - Teaching style: passionate, practical and playful. So whether you are just starting out or are already at an advanced stage, I can help you! ENGLISH Are you looking for inspiring piano lessons? Then you have come to the right place. Double bass, electric bass and composition lessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Double bass, electric bass and composition lessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello I'm a professional bass player living in Amsterdam. I have a passion for teaching and passing on some of the knowledge that I have acquired during my studies at several schools and heard from the musicians I look up to. I've done my bachelor degree at The Royal Academy of Music in Denmark, and I finished my Masters at Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2024. I teach double bass, electric bass and composition. Musically I try to be as open as I can. For me it doesn't matter if it's free jazz, traditional jazz, pop or metal as long as it feels good. I'm a leader of my own group where we combine jazz and indie rock. we will release our debut album this fall. I'm also a sideman in several groups. As for composition I have experience with composing for regular jazz groups, big band, string quartet and irregular constellations such as my band with three guitars and three horns. Some thoughts about teaching: I believe that the most important thing when teaching is having a good relation to one another and generally just having a good time. If we don't enjoy the process we don't learn. You should feel comfortable saying how you feel and what you want to learn/don't want to learn. With that transparency I will be able to customize the teaching and balance the curriculum so that I meet your needs while pushing you into unknown territory. If you're reading this I'm happy that you took your time to read through it all, and hopefully we'll get to meet and talk about music!

Learn to Play the Accordion at Any Age. Start with a Trail Lesson.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Learn to Play the Accordion at Any Age. Start with a Trail Lesson.Translate this text using Google Translate.

You’ve Always Wanted to Play the Accordion. Let’s Make It Happen. For you or for your child, it can start with one free lesson. Maybe you’ve loved the sound of the accordion for years but never believed you could play it yourself. Maybe you already own one, but online videos have left you with more questions than answers. Or maybe you’re looking for a patient teacher who will help your child enjoy music and feel proud of their progress. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone. You bring curiosity. I’ll bring guidance, encouragement, and a clear plan. Hi, I’m Nikola Spasic, founder of Accordion Joy Academy, an ArtEZ Conservatory graduate, and a two-time winner of the Dutch National Accordion Competition. I teach live, private online lessons that start with you, your experience, your musical taste, your pace, and the time you have available. You don’t need to read music before starting. You don’t need to feel naturally talented. And you don’t need to have begun as a child. We’ll build the skills together, one manageable step at a time. Here’s how I’ll help you move forward. Personal attention in every lesson. Ask questions, get feedback, and understand how to improve. A clear practice plan. Know what to work on between lessons, with manageable goals that fit your routine. Music you actually want to play. Classical, tango, folk, musette, movie themes, and more—adapted to your level. Support you can revisit. Lesson recordings, demonstrations, and sheet music help you practise with confidence. Patient guidance through the tricky parts. We’ll work on the bellows, bass buttons, and coordination without rushing. Encouragement along the way. See your progress, celebrate small successes, and connect with fellow learners in my private accordion community. For children, lessons make room for curiosity, repetition, and small achievements that build confidence. For adults, they offer a structured way to finally make music part of your life. Your first simple song in 30 days, or your money back. We’ll start with a song suited to your level and build towards playing it from beginning to end. If you don’t get there within 30 days, I’ll refund your money. Your first step is a free one-on-one trial lesson, with no obligation to continue. We’ll talk about your goals, try some practical exercises, and discuss lesson options and prices. Don’t have an accordion yet? Contact me first, and I’ll help you understand what to look for. Send me a message saying, “I’d love to learn”, and tell me whether the lessons are for you or your child. Let’s give that wish a place to start.

“ Umberto is a great teacher. He’s really dedicated to his work and actively involved in the lessons. He adjusts the level of the lessons to your learning speed, making sure you understand the language well by asking questions and checking if you need more time to practice certain topics. I can highly recommend Umberto because his soft teaching approach, kind personality, and patience help me with building up my confidence and motivation to using Italian. I feel comfortable learning at my own speed, and I appreciate how supportive and encouraging he is throughout the lessons :) ”

“ Amazing lesson and a great introduction to the organ! It was super interesting to learn the basics and try the instrument for the first time. Jeroen is a fantastic teacher with both excellent playing and teaching skills. I have some prior piano experience and I really appreciated how he adapted the lesson to what I already knew and what was new to me. And by the end of the lesson we were already playing a few pieces and discussing a plan for what to learn next. I'm planning to continue this journey and would like to thank Jeroen again for such a wonderful experience! ”

“ Best piano lesson I've ever had! Admittedly, this was also the first lesson I've ever had - however it was every bit as good as I had hoped it would be. Starting at the ripe old age of 35 I was slightly concerned that I might be too old to start, but Deniz made the whole experience very easy to enjoy, and she adapted the lesson around the very little bits I was able to do, while filling in lots of information that I didn't know. Looking forward to carrying on my training and would highly recommend to anyone that's thinking of taking the plunge. ”
