Evy - Geneva41€
Trusted teacher: ● All levels ● All ages ● Flexibility to suit your musical tastes. 💃 Hello everyone!! Get ready to add some spice to your moves and dive into the electrifying world of Latin music! My name is Evelyn, a dance enthusiast from Peru, currently residing in Geneva while pursuing my master's degree. 🎶 I invite you to join my exciting dance classes, where I will guide you through the infectious rhythms of salsa, bachata, and zumba, infusing each lesson with the unique flavors of Latin American culture. 🎯 My main goal is your comfort, because to me, dance is a way to express yourself and live life fully. I want my students to enjoy every step without any pressure and to experience the joy of moving to Latin rhythms. My classes are open to all ages. I look forward to awakening the dancer within you and connecting you with the rhythms that make our hips sway and our hearts sing! ☘️ When I start working with students, they often repeat the same patterns—mechanical, rigid steps memorized from 1 to 7. Dancing becomes a mere imitation rather than a natural expression. I’m here to help you transform what you’ve learned in group classes and take your dancing to the next level. In my classes, I teach you to feel salsa and bachata. If you feel them, you’ll be able to dance anywhere, with anyone, with confidence and flow. We’ll work from the foundation: ✔️ You’ll learn to identify and follow the rhythm. ✔️ You’ll understand transitions and how to adapt to them. ✔️ You’ll develop your skills in partner dancing. From the very first class, we’ll correct what’s necessary so that you don’t just improve—you build a solid foundation that allows you to express yourself naturally. Are you ready to feel the dance? 💃🔥 🌟 P.S.: Besides teaching Latin dances, I have experience in creating custom choreographies for weddings and special events. If you have a choreography in mind, feel free to share it, and we’ll learn it together! FAQ ● Do I need dance shoes? No, that is not necessary. I recommend coming with comfortable shoes. ● What should I wear? I suggest you come in light clothes in which you feel comfortable. ● Alone or accompanied? You can come either alone or with a partner. I also offer couples classes. ● Other questions? Feel free to contact me!

Jamal - Budapest33€
Trusted teacher: Greetings! I'm Jamal, based in the lovely city of Budapest, Hungary. I am deeply immersed in the captivating realm of mathematics as part of my academic journey. But beyond the formulas and theories, my true passion lies in making learning a delightful and accessible experience, mainly when it involves the fascinating world of mathematics. If I were to describe myself, "friendly" and "approachable" would be at the top of the list. My mission is simple but heartfelt – I'm here to assist others on their path to understanding and conquering mathematics. When it comes to teaching, my philosophy is all about tailoring the learning experience to the unique way each student thinks and learns. No two individuals are the same, and that's what makes teaching such an exciting adventure. By understanding the strengths and thought processes of each student, I help them discover their mathematical potential. One of my core beliefs is that math is for everyone. I'm trying to challenge the notion that some people are naturally better at math than others. It's all about fostering a positive learning environment and instilling confidence in my students. I want them to enjoy the journey of exploring and conquering math. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me for any questions or to learn more about how I can assist you. I'm committed to providing a swift response, typically within a few minutes or by the same day/end of the day. Let's embark on this exciting mathematical adventure together, where learning is engaging, and math becomes a friend, not a foe!

Jiaqi - Lugano109€
Trusted teacher: 你好!Grüezi!Hola!Hello! I'm a Confucius Institute (the ONLY globally recognized official institution for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages) certified Mandarin teacher. I'm also an official YCT (Youth Chinese Test)/ HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test)/ HSKK (Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test) test examiner. In addition to giving private lessons, I also teach Chinese at international schools and lead Mandarin immersion Spielgruppe (playgroup) in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. My speciality is teaching children between the age of 2.5 and 12 in an immersive and interactive learning environment. By means of guided game-playing, painting, story-reading, drama activities, song-singing, dancing, and handcraft-making, kids achieve organic language acquisition while having a lot of fun. The predominant features you will find in my class are tailor-made teaching materials and methods that are customized to best suit your specific study objectives (Preschooler Chinese, K-12 Chinese, YCT, HSK, Beginner Chinese, Conversational Chinese, Business Chinese...etc.). As a language learner myself (B.A. major in Spanish and currently studying German), I have great patience and willingness to help you on your journey towards Chinese proficiency, because I know how frustrating it could get at times. Being in the shoes of a linguistics student for years also enables me to better instruct you, as I understand very well what are the things a learner would find helpful. I welcome students of all age groups and prior proficiency levels. Looking forward to sharing my knowledge of Chinese language and culture with you:)

Johannes - Besançon35€
Trusted teacher: Möchten Sie Deutsch lernen? If you've always dreamed of saying “Guten Tag” with a mischievous smile, these courses are the perfect opportunity for you to dive into the fascinating world of the German language! 🇩🇪 I can provide academic support for children, as well as individual lessons for professionals or anyone else interested. In Besançon or by video. Usually, I teach a multitude of subjects in alternation, putting priority on the student's wishes. Together we will break through the tangled maze of German grammar brilliantly. 🇩🇪 And to brighten up the lessons, I have a lot of tracks in my repertoire such as humorous poems by J. Ringelnatz or songs. Also, I always find it pleasant to support beginners in their first steps. 🤗📚 My arsenal? An online portal with links and materials that I personalize for each student and a mind map at the beginning to present all the themes I propose. I will send you on request. Some exercises I did myself, often with the help of AI. I can recommend some nifty software and give you incentives so that you can continue learning very effectively yourself. And inspire you to learn the long works of Goethe and Schiller with new vivacity. 💡 My particular passion is German compound words, a real linguistic puzzle! How would you translate Handschuh = "shoe of the hands", Zebrastreifen = "zebra strips", Dachboden = "roof floor" or Friedhof = "court of peace. And for the advances, what is it about with the " Aufmerksamkeitsdefizit-Hyperaktivitätssyndrom"? (I will send you answers on request (; ) 🤓🇩🇪 For the curious, what concerns your teacher: Born in Northern Germany and living in Besançon since 2020. Graduated in geography. I have already taught German in various projects in Togo and Kyrgyzstan. I have already taught German in various projects in Togo and Kyrgyzstan. In Besançon, I worked as a German teacher for "Maison Blanche Formation", a language school for professionals, and for the Scops association. 🌍👨‍🏫 Classes can take place in my apartment in downtown Besançon or at the student's home, with a possible travel fee depending on the distance. And surprise, I also offer tutoring in math, English, or multi-subjects. 🎓💻🗣️ So, are you ready for an extraordinary linguistic adventure? Johannes, the spellmaster, is waiting for you! Prost (that's "cheers" in German) and see you soon! 🌈👋 Johannes

Jiaqi has adopted her teaching approach to the age 5 and 6 of our sons and created a tailer-made sessions that contain crafting, drawing and game-playing that our boys love very much. While they really enjoy the sessions and the interaction is great we see the progress: our guys start teaching us Mandarin, read signs on all chinese products and show to their friends all the crafting they made together with Jiaqi. I'm happy to see that they learn Mandarin in such an organic way and highly recommend Jiaqi for any kind of learning classes with kids!

Jamal is an excellent tutor who has helped me improve significantly from struggling, to performing greatly during my A level maths exams. Jamal is also extremely friendly and hard working, preparing each revision session in advance allowing him to explain complex topics simply and concisely. I highly recommend him to anyone who like me has always found maths hard and uninteresting, as his teachings have shown me that maths can even be fun with the right level of understanding. Thanks a lot for all your help and fun year Jamal! Leo

Giuseppe

This guy is the real deal. I just completed my fifth lesson and I already know how to play most of the Judas Priest's Breaking the law. Giuseppe pays a lot of attention on your technique and tries to make sure that you don't pick up any bad habits that you would later have to unlearn. Each lesson has included exercises that improve your technique and practicing songs as well. He tells you what to practice for the next time. He is patient and explains things very clearly. Highly recommended.
