You listen to music every day... but do you really understand what sound is, how it works, what it's made of, and how it has evolved throughout history?
🎯 Objective: I don't want to waste your time, so in just one hour, you'll discover everything I spent months learning about sound! You'll develop your sonic knowledge, understand sound in all its facets, ask all your questions, and leave with solid knowledge that you can immediately apply to your musical or personal journey. In my opinion, this introduction to sound culture is essential for any musician, composer, producer, or enthusiast who wants to master sound perfectly!
My name is Salomon, and I've been a composer and producer for eight years. I studied at INA, worked at RMC and Abbey Road Studios, and produced music in many styles. I have a comprehensive skill set: computer music production, guitar, harmonica, and a very broad musical knowledge that I'd like to share.
What you will learn and discover in 1 hour:
* What sound actually is: vibrations, frequencies, amplitude, spectrum... explained simply
* How our ear perceives and analyzes sounds (masking, pitch, timbre...)
* The phenomena of sound through unexpected and fascinating facts
* The impact of space, materials, and environment on sound
* The concepts of sound perception and psychoacoustics
* The history of sound: from its earliest explorations to the evolution of sound techniques
Method:
* The course is presented using a clear and structured PowerPoint presentation.
* This is a time for discussion and questioning: your questions are at the heart of the course
* In the end, you leave with:
* the complete PDF support
* all my sound resources for DAW
* the possibility of contacting me at any time for your technical questions
