Each lesson can be tailored to your child’s individual needs - whether they are already fluent in English or just beginning to learn :). During the first lesson I will assess your child’s level of English through a range of activities and conversation. This will allow me to gain a better understanding of their level of English and where is best to target. Each following lesson will then have a theme. For beginner speakers this will range from weather, sports, hobbies, colours, shapes, etc and for more advanced speakers writing, comprehension, reading and more complex phrases or English language grammar rules. At the beginning of each lesson we will review the previous lessons topic to ensure it has been retained before moving on to new knowledge. I use a range of resources to support my teaching including PowerPoints, prompt cards, images, bilingual cards and games. I have been teaching children for over 5 years and have a deep understanding of how they learn best and how to ensure progress. Florencia welcomed us with different activities to find out about our level of Spanish. The lessons gave plenty of speaking opportunities. She took the time to analyse the mistakes made on Spanish exams to find ways of improving. After each lesson, Florencia gave us links for more online excersices and the notes to the lesson. She was friendly, accommodating, patient and non-judging - a great teacher
