- My methodology: I pay particular attention to the practice of the language and to an immersion adapted to the level of the student in the English-speaking world. In physics, we study many topics related to matter, energy, charges, and others. I am interested in teaching physics so that the information reaches the student completely.

This class is meant for anyone who wants to speak fluently in English. Based on the individulas interest and requirement classes will be tailored. The purpose of the class is to let the individual feel confident and to adapt to using the language in real life situations.

During my high school education in Portugal, I found myself unchallenged and unmotivated by the math curriculum. Seven years later, as a mathematician at the beginning of my academic career, I think I'm an ideal tutor for students in a similar position—interested in math but not quite finding what they need at school. I'm also available to help more advanced students (from university or beyond) who need advice and direction on university-level topics. Additionally, I'm happy to help adults who need help restarting their mathematical education or filling in gaps in their understanding. I'm interested in talking about anything mathematical, from linear inequalities to Hilbert's Nullstellensatz. I'm also familiar with computer science, both in theory and practice. I can easily take the reins and "lecture" on most topics but would prefer to steer towards whatever the student finds interesting. I strongly believe that learning math is an active, creative process.

The French Lesson, is for people who want to learn the language or to improve their French skills, with grammar and conversation always teaching using subjects that the student is interested in so that French can be faster and more fun to be learned. We have experience teaching students of different ages, from different countries, students from zero level to advanced level of knowledge about the French language, and also with different learning needs. In additional, we can have a schedule of classes according to how fast you need to learn the language. I speak French, English, and Swahili. As a native Russian speaker, I'll try to make you "feel the flavor" of this language, and as a certified teacher of English, I'll teach Russian through English so that you can master this extremely difficult language.
