The GMAT is required for most MBA programs worldwide, of which the top 100 use it for 90% of their admissions. Its Verbal section (Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension) is quite different in its focus on the logic and construction of phrases and arguments rather than language rules and vocabulary, typical of other exams. I will help you gain real understanding of the question logic, and extensive practice by working only with authentic questions from past exams (hundreds of questions of various difficulty levels) and supplementing with extra targeted exercises from my eclectic collection of the best resources. This serious exam requires intelligent preparation, there are no superficial shortcuts and tricks like those one may easily come across. Thanks to my high test scores (over 90% on TOEFL, SAT and GRE ) I was admitted to top U.S. universities with a full scholarship and a full stipend.
Also I have taught TOEFL, Cambridge certificates and GMAT preparation courses for over 10 years. There is nothing more rewarding than having been part of the success of my students.
I have a C1 level in French and a B2 in Dutch, so I am familiar with the ‘faux amis’ between the languages and some typical difficulties in grammar and pronunciation.

I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. All my students are satisfied with my course and those who had entrance exams have passed successfully. There is nothing like having English lessons with a qualified English speaker ;-) I have done all my studies in English and in the United Kingdom, I consider English as being my first language among all the other ones I have learned. Being a "native" speaker for me is meaningless, the qualifications are the most important as well as the experience (you could have a "native" speaker who makes a lot of mistakes because this person is not qualified in teaching).

The price of the lessons is moderate compared to the effectiveness of my courses. I use a variety of methods and can easily adapt to the needs of the student. I offer courses at all levels (beginner, advanced to university level) as well as English courses for IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or correction of written works.

I have worked with children as well as teenagers and adults. My 3 years of experience as a teacher in England have helped me to develop the qualities necessary to motivate my students and teach them effectively.

I can deliver the lessons online anywhere in the world.

English pronunciation is essential these days because English is spoken everywhere and all the time.

I followed specialized training such as the verb tonal method, Feldenkrais or mental coaching.

We are therefore going to work in a slightly different way by combining articulatory techniques, movement, rhythm, intonation, warming up of the jaw and tongue, stretching of the neck, neck and shoulders to arrive to very fast results.

My name is Maria, a Venezuelan musician residing in Belgium. In the world of art, languages and cultures are a fundamental part of being able to understand each other and connect with each other in order to create something beautiful together, in my case music. Apart from being an artist, I like languages and learning them has become a passion for me, which is why I decided to take this passion to another level.

During my classes I want to help you learn my native language, which is Latin American Spanish, in a personalized and dynamic way.
The classes are separated by levels (A0-B2), where you will learn the grammar of the language but also vocabulary and expressions to use on a daily basis with other speakers of the language.
My idea is that each student learns the language at their own pace but understanding and daring to speak it from the first day. Support material (book, exercises, audios, etc) is always included.
