Learning to read as a youngster can be tricky! I will help build on the skills your child already has to help them learn to read. I will assess your child to see whether it is letter names, letter sounds, blending, fluency or comprehension that should be the focus of our time together. I was a second and pre-k teacher for 7 years and also have my Masters Degree in Literacy Curriculum and Instruction. I love working with young children and seeing the moment when "the light bulb turns on" in regards to reading. I will create a completely personalized plan of attack for your child to help them grow as much as possible. I will use games, flashcards, visual aids, and real life connections to help engage your child. We can meet at a local library or public place if in the West Fort Worth area.
