I am a trained CELTA English teacher and also have an MA TESOL to teach English to speakers of other languages. I love to inspire others not only to speak English but to encourage them to develop their own unique style of using the language which fits their needs, personality, interests and motivation.

I will always address the individual learning needs in the design of a course. You are encouraged to participate in the different techniques and methods that suit you as a learner. I am trained in task based teaching, multi-sensory techniques and teaching languages to learners with difficulties.

Méthodology

I will use a variety of different methods, so that you enjoy your learning experience. I can offer a structured course to take you to the next level (Grammar is learnt by doing). I currently teach to students and work professionals (oral presentations, writing skills and fluency). As I mix task based and a communication approach, students are active in the lessons and their learning comes from this participation. I teach all levels from beginners to advanced.

J’ai la capacité d’utiliser une variété de méthodes différentes en fonction de chacun. Pour ceux qui ont peur de la grammaire et qui s’embrouillent facilement, je vous donnerai quelques outils faciles pour que vous puissiez vous améliorer sans effort. J’utilise des stratèges de communication que j’intègre dans tous le cours afin de vous aider à être autonome dans la participation de tâches que je donne. Je fais des analyses de besoins et je m’engage à vous donner des cours adaptés à vos besoins, intérêts, forces et faiblesses. Vous n’allez pas forcément remarquer que vous faites des efforts intellectuelles mais simplement que vous vous amusez à apprendre et à mieux utiliser la langue anglaise.

Over 7 years of experience as an English Teacher. (TOTAL, PFIZER, CENELEC, Brussels Parliament). I have also taught at ULB, 2nd & 3rd-year students and prepared Solvay students to successfully pass oral presentation exams. I have facilitated workshops and given classes throughout my career all over the world.

English pronunciation is essential these days because English is spoken everywhere and all the time.

I followed specialized training such as the verb tonal method, Feldenkrais or mental coaching.

We are therefore going to work in a slightly different way by combining articulatory techniques, movement, rhythm, intonation, warming up of the jaw and tongue, stretching of the neck, neck and shoulders to arrive to very fast results.

Hi! If you are struggling to get to the next level with your English I can help, whether you are a beginner or fluent, young child or happily retired. I am bilingual, a qualified and experienced English teacher with several years' of private tutoring as well as language school teaching.
One of the things I have found important with teaching at any level has been to make sure that passive vocabulary becomes active through speaking (and writing). Therefore I tend to ask my pupils to learn vocabulary between classes so that we can put them to use together.
I can teach online (during office-hours) as well as in person in my home or your home (evenings and weekends). I am happy to teach people in small groups.

Since I believe that the learning environment is one of the keys to successful language learning, I endeavor to make students feel comfortable and content in my lessons: to ask questions if they are unsure and keep an easy but rewarding pace of learning.

Depending on how my students feel they learn English most effectively, I adapt my lessons to use materials that give them the best results possible. For instance, some students find the continuity of a coursebook effective, while others prefer to be more flexible with articles and podcasts. I know from experience that every student is unique.
