Jazz Piano Lessons for Beginners, Advanced Amateurs and Professionals Using the Berklee College of Music MethodologyTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Jazz Piano Lessons for Beginners, Advanced Amateurs and Professionals Using the Berklee College of Music MethodologyTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Graduated with Honors from Berklee College of Music (USA) Modern Harmony Lessons, Reharmonizations, Chord Scales, Passing/Substitution Chords, Improvisation. 40 years of career, on 4 continents. Numerous concerts and recording studio sessions. Compositions/arrangements/orchestrations and orchestral conducting (in particular for Rhythm Section, String Section, Brass Combos and Big Band). I would like to be able to transfer my knowledge to young and old people who want to improve their knowledge and virtuosity. I use the Berklee College of Music Methodology where I was trained for 8 semesters. Pragmatic and very professional approach: - Quick learning - Reading and understanding Anglo-Saxon notations - Reading of “Standard” scores - Rhythmic/melodic/harmonic analysis techniques - Construction of triad and tetrad chords - Use of harmonic voltages (9/11/13) - Use of passing and substitution agreements - Modal exchanges - Jazz Counterpoint - Construction and use of chord scales - Improvisation techniques (Jazz/Bebop/Blues) - Piano and Hammond B3 Organ specialty Courses intended for all musicians, whatever their level (from beginner to professional). Also courses in theory, harmony, arrangement and orchestration, intended for non-pianists. Standard course schedule: 0.5 hours theory + 1.5 hours practical.

Classical Song of India - Dhrupad of the DagarvaniTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Classical Song of India - Dhrupad of the DagarvaniTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Indian music is enjoying growing success with Western audiences. Because more and more artists are performing in our latitudes (especially in venues such as the Théâtre de la Ville, the Musée Guimet in Paris, etc.), and also because the discovery of music with a traditional system of learning arouses the interest of many people who would like to approach music differently; and there are many links between the Indian and Western tradition, due to the universal character of music but also to the fact that India has been able to preserve modes of transmission that have long since disappeared in the West, but which have nothing to envy in terms of efficiency. to modern methods. I propose learning the song of North India, in the dhrupad style, the oldest still transmitted today. Its advantage is that it offers a gradual approach to ragas (musical motifs that could be compared to modes), note by note, without the need for prior knowledge or talent as a virtuoso: the practice is based on the 'listen. Over the course of practice, it nevertheless makes it possible to acquire a great mastery of the voice. The lesson, which lasts one hour (half for children), takes place accompanied by the tampura, an instrument that gives the "drone" or fundamental/tonic note. It is from this persistent note that the student will learn to place his voice, to find the correctness of tone and timbre. This is done gently, the pace of learning adapting to that of the student. In addition, the achievements in this style of singing can always be useful later for other styles of music, even outside India, up to jazz and classical/baroque music. My apprenticeship was for twelve years with one of the 19th generation masters teaching this tradition, Ustad H. Sayeeduddin Dagar, belonging to the illustrious family which made this style and Indian music known in the West in the years 1960. It has now continued for four years with his nephew Ustad F. Wasifuddin Dagar. Lessons are private, or in weekly workshops in Paris near Bastille (see my website musicosophe[point]fr).

PRO GUITARIST // QUALIFIED TEACHER Modern guitar lessons [Blues, Rock, Pop, Metal] + Recording/Composing/Mixing/MasteringTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Pro guitarist, composer/producer for my group Cartoon Theory and in my name, and live session, I offer personalized lessons according to the musical tastes and the level of the student. The long-term goal is for the student to become independent and acquire a good methodology allowing them to achieve their goals. I propose different areas of work such as: - The pure technique of the instrument (back and forth exercises, tapping, sweeping, scales, positioning of the hands on the neck, endurance, etc.) - Practice where one or more pieces will be played, from one lesson to another in the student's desired style, and depending on the level. - improvisation, therefore the acquisition of vocabulary (licks/plans) in order to be able to express oneself on accompaniments in all styles, and in different contexts, and make the link with theory. - recording: depending on your ambitions, I can give advice on how to record yourself at home independently, whether it is practical or material. - mixing in a home studio, to be able to create mixes yourself, understand concepts and processes for mixes in different styles. - Composition: Having composed for different projects, I can teach the different ways of composing although it is relatively personal. - Possibility of intensive COURSES over several days. Prices will vary depending on the options chosen (intensive course, home lessons, etc.) V

English - conversational English and practicing everyday speechTranslate this text using Google Translate.

English - conversational English and practicing everyday speechTranslate this text using Google Translate.

**COVID19 pandemic update: Given the circumstances and taking our safety into consideration, I am currently not giving lessons in person. I am, however, available for skype lessons. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!** A passionate lover of the English culture and lifestyle, I have acquired official certification equivalent to Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) level, corresponding to level C2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (the highest level possible). After living in the United States for two years, I am currently pursuing a double major Anglais/Etudes Internationales at the Sorbonne University in Paris. My experience in France has taught me that due to the specific nature of the English language and the limited time to practice it, there is an issue when it comes to conversational English. This is what my lessons will focus on - everyday conversational English, correction of accent, learning about stress and sentence dynamics which help you to sound more natural and understanding of phonology and the IPA transcription. If you are shy when it comes to expressing yourself in front of others; if you find yourself lacking the "proper" expressions or tools to engage in everyday conversations; or if you just want to learn what does "hitting the books", "to lose your touch", or to "pitch in" mean - this class is probably for you. And I promise you we'll have a lot of fun while learning! Note: This class focuses mainly on American English.
