Maths:
As a Mathematical Sciences graduate from the University of Bath, I have a strong grasp of Mathematics and especially excelled at school level. My specialty (and passion) is in Pure Mathematics, achieving 100% in several of these A-Level modules, but I'm also very confident in both Mechanics and Statistics, scoring 90%+ in these A-Level modules. (FYI the exams I studied were following the Edexcel curriculum, but all other exam boards are very similar so it won't matter if you're not studying for these exams specifically)

If looking to study Mathematics at university level I can also offer advice and recommendations for a successful application.

Spanish:
As a Colombian national I have a strong command of Spanish, particularly the Latin American variation. Happy to give conversation practice as well as specific grammar / vocab / exam preparation.

French:
B2 Level and achieved an A* at GCSE. I have a French father and have spent a lot of time with him in the south of France. Again, happy to give conversation practice as well as grammar / vocab / exam preparation but only up to GCSE level.

I'm very happy to cater to any particular requirements of students, focusing on key areas of interest / weakness. Also happy to tutor younger or older students looking to improve their understanding and capability in these 3 areas, outside of the specific GCSE & A-Level exams.

British/Colombian raised in the UK (Peterborough/London), with a brief stint in France, but currently living in Bogotá, Colombia. Passionate about Mathematics & Languages.

My father is a professor and he instilled in me the philosophy that learning never stops. There's always more to discover and that's exciting! In addition to being a great way to solidify and test my own knowledge in personal areas of interest, I find teaching to be an incredibly rewarding endeavour (like my father). I love to see my students develop in confidence, proficiency and learn that with a little effort and perseverance, what was once hard becomes easier and easier until you start to wonder what was so hard about it in the first place.

It's important to see the fun in learning as well, otherwise things can get tedious and boring. I love mathematics because it's abstract puzzle solving. It's about solving complex problems with your mind! In your head! And languages! This is fundamental for human communication and an understanding of culture. My passion for language also comes from a deep love of literature and movies and so I'm very happy to discuss this with any interested students, in Spanish/French of course ;)

All in all, I aim to help my students achieve whatever goal it is they're seeking, but if I can instil a passion in the subject, or for learning in general, at the same time then that's all the better!
